*shaking my fist at Mr Mitovich* 😛
I’d been thinking of tweeting Adam that question if I happened to catch him online. Would probably get a #nospoilers reply, I suppose. Would just be good to have an idea of how much longer it will be before we get the question of WHO answered.
[adrotate group="5"]January 21, 2014 at 9:24 am #239144CorbinParticipantRG, that tweet had me laughing in class xD TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!
Let me throw my two cents into this (obviously) heated debate:
I don’t want Neal to die. Too many storylines led up to finding out his true identity in 2×14 “Manhattan” that it would just feel like it was a hanging thread. Henry and Neal interacted very briefly before Neal fell through the bean hole and, after saving Henry from Neverland, Pan’s Curse brought them back to EF. That can’t just be left alone. And, besides Henry, what about Rumple? I would say most of the fandom is 99.9% certain that Rumple isn’t dead, so when they eventually find Rumple, he might die on the spot with finding out that Neal is dead! And I won’t even start mentioning SwanFire. This is a thread on who’s dying, not on shipping.
While on the other hand, Neal just keeps getting hurt and separated and…
Hook. While I personally want him to die, I don’t see A&E going that way. He was promoted to series regular before his first episode even aired! While I admit that I was upset about not seeing the classic Peter Pan/Captain Hook story (Two biggest disappointments of 3A: 1. Not finding out how Hook worked for Pan 2. Not finding out who Aurora feared in the burning room. That could have been such a fascinating story!), Hook had some strong character development that I am sure is planning on continuing, especially since he is going to try and convince Emma.
Then again, that could mean his chance of dying is even greater…
I don’t think Belle is dying, period. With so little we’re being given on Rumbelle (VERY little, not even crumblike), that must mean that something BIG is happening. And with A&E saying that EdR is being given some of her best work, that must mean something. Belle is not dying, at least not this season.
First season regulars: Safe, 101%
Again, TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!
Keeper of Thor’s Hammer, Will Scarlet’s Genie Bottle, Emma’s Gun, Emma and Henry’s Moment at the Castle, Cora, and the infamous Family Tree!
January 21, 2014 at 9:34 am #239153RumplesGirlKeymasterI wonder if we’ll be able to tell from episode titles. Last night I was going back and forth over if it had already happened but I think this is probably a 320-322 deal. One of those episodes will be the death.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 21, 2014 at 9:39 am #239157CorbinParticipantI had been thinking that the spoiler correlates with the episode they’re working on. So maybe 3×16-17?
And to think we were complaining about getting nothing to chew on…

Yeah they’re shooting 316 now and have been for a few days. I think 3×17 is the next episode penned by A and E and I imagine they’d want to handle the death themselves. They wrote Graham’s and Peter Pan’s. The only major for-real death they haven’t done was Cora in The Miller’s Daughter.
If A and E do want to write the death themselves then smart money on 317 or 322.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 21, 2014 at 9:58 am #239172CorbinParticipantWell, if they didn’t handle the death themselves, they would leave it to Jane. She hasn’t written an episode since 3×03, so she may be writing it. I don’t think A&E would trust something so huge to anyone else BUT Jane, especially since Wonderland wrapped. But I do think that they’re going to handle it themselves.
But I’m still not sure who to place my bet on. Regina isn’t dying, since she’s part of the main battle of Wicked vs. Evil. Rumple is deliberately excluded, and Emma is not dying since she’s the main character. Snow is probably safe, since they wouldn’t leave her baby without a mother. Charming… I don’t know. He already almost died this season, so that could mean he’s safe. Henry keeps “dying”, so why not just kill him already! (No offense to the actor, he’s very talented for his age and I am sure he will become bigger after the show ends.) It’s either Hook or Nealfire, since Rumbelle has been hinted to last until the end of the show. I think that, since all explanation only leads to those two, we can start placing our final bets now.
But The Powers That Be could turn around and kill Regina. You never know with LOST writers 😉

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 21, 2014 at 10:01 am #239175JosephineParticipantI just don’t understand why they would release this spoiler at all. It would have a much higher shock value if kept secret. All it did was just as antagonize and agonize fans and create division.
WORST. SPOILER. EVER.
Keeper of Rumplestiltskin's and Neal's spears and war paint and crystal ball.
January 21, 2014 at 10:13 am #239180CorbinParticipantIt was pretty random to release it now… I mean, we still have a month and a half to go! Maybe there will be less spoilers out now…
But A&E wanted this out, since they’re pretty good with controlling spoilers. Maybe they did it for a reason (besides tormenting fans)?

January 21, 2014 at 10:13 am #239181RumplesGirlKeymasterI wasn’t really reading the overnight posts very intensely this morning (coffee hadn’t kicked in) but after receiving a private message asking for my assistance, I went back and re-read more carefully. Can we please remember to keep this is polite and courteous? Let’s not pigeonhole or and psychoanalyze our forum members as being hypocritical or fake or any other such thing.
This is a hard spoiler, for everyone. It’s an emotional blow to fans, shippers and non shippers. We need to remember that everyone is entitled to their own interpretation of events and dialogue so long as we are doing it in a polite manner. Talking down to a member–whether directly or tangentially–doesn’t fly.
Ok. Carry on.
