[adrotate group="5"]He better not really be dead. With all of this speculation about whether Belle, Neal or Hook will die, I would have to consider not watching if Belle died. But if Rumple is really gone from the show? Then I’d definitely stop watching. So I hope that by Eddy adding that last part “it looked like death to me, but he’s the Dark One”, that’s a hint that he’s coming back.

Agreed…you really think they’d outright spoil something that huge? (Despite the fact that none of us buy that he’s gone for good.)

Every series regular cast member is a possibility –except for Robert Carlyle. The EPs have agreed to rule out that one candidate, seeing as Rumplestiltskin is theoretically already “gone” (having sacrificed himself in the name of vanquishing Peter Pan).
Good Grief!! Rumple is alive and will be back but they have to keep something going to keep people interested enough to come back and see how he survived kind of like Sherlock he was perceived dead and he wasn’t.
All I know is that Eddy said he’s dead,………he came right out and said that Gold is dead. If Belle sacrifices herself to save him, I’m going to …….ah, use your imagination. If that has to happen, damn, that’s CRUEL…..He would have sacrificed himself to save Belle and Bae and that wouldn’t be enough to save him? Emilie’s photo there scares me……
Bobby, when he’s filming, is probably filming with very few people…..I mean, we haven’t read any casting spoilers for characters he might be interacting with. Does this mean Gold has been sent to some Netherworld? Adam did say they’d be in the same world for an extended period, which means they aren’t in the same world initially. How on earth would Belle find him or how on earth would he find his way back? If he’s redeemed, why has he been sent someplace where his loved ones can’t find him?

Actually this fits my headcanon with how I think the season of Rumbelle plays out.
He’s in Hades and Belle has to rescue him in a gender swapped tale of Eurydice and Orpheus. (and succeeds this time)

Dead is dead, which means he shouldn’t be saved; it would be wrong to back track on that. I’m love Greek mythology, but I’m not familiar with this story; can you fill me in?
IF your theory is correct, how would Belle even know how to save him? Would his ghost appear to her? How on earth would she find her way to the Underworld? Maybe she does sacrifice herself……………..I want to cry, but I’ll try not to.
Adam said he hopes we’ll enjoy her story……her death would not be enjoyable. Eddy said that Rumbelle would be explored, in “whatever state that’s in”……
