I think the musical episode will still have flashbacks, with songs in both flashbacks and present day. Not sure how they’re going to explain that, if they do at all.

I think the only way to explain it would be a la Buffy style, a one-off villain comes to town (and the EF) and causes everyone to burst into song.

I wonder who will make a cameo! It would make sense to include Jasmine since the actress was in another musical fairy tale series on ABC, but probably she won’t be given other spoilers. She’d also be expected, and Eddy hinted we wouldn’t expect the cameo appearances.
Maybe Graham? Maleficent? who would we not expect to see in a musical episode?
I am sure no-one is expecting a character as minor as Violet’s father to get time in the musical ep, but dude can sing!!! 😀
