On a separated note, but related to the article, are they backtracking by saying Bae met the Darlings in Victorian England? The “Victorian England” realm or our realm in our England during the Victorian Era? I’m confused. Please help someone. Lol.

Just in the Wish!Realm; Nealfire did not go off to England (real England, our England). We don’t know how he was alive to meet Emma and sire Henry without what happened in our realm (and they clearly aren’t going to explore it) but somehow he was and did.

It makes sense. Rumpel did still become the dark one and made the dark curse in this land. Looks like the only difference is that Regina never got the chance to cast the curse since she was defeated. Logically Neal shouldn’t be there, but I’m guessing they added him in to explain henry being alive. Neal just so happened to find his way back to the FTL at some point. And chose to stay for Emma.

The Rumpel fans like him. Emma fans like him. Then he just has his own Neal fans going on as well. There are some fans that don’t, but they are not the majority. The producers and ABC have made a decision though and lost three quarters of their audience. It is what it is though and it is unfixable, so i think they should just leave Neal like he was. Showing him and Emma in the true dream, saying they love each other, Emma would have saved him if she could have, and the painting proving he would find Emma in any realm and they would have Henry is a good enough ending as it is going to get.
It is no less logical that Neal had a baby with Emma in the wish realm then it would have been that he didn’t. I don’t understand why people take issue with this. It is a changed timeline. Emma wishes she was never the savior, so that wish could possibly change everything including the inciting incident of Bae falling through the portal that led all the way to Rumpel creating the curse, putting Snow and Charming’s true love on the scroll, and Regina enacting the curse. It is a changed timeline. That subjects everything in those line of events to change.
I am betting we will probably get more dialog about Neal in the upcoming episodes to explain how this situation worked out. I don’t see why we wouldn’t. I could see Henry talking about wanting to be brave like his dad as he goes out to slay the EQ.
