So, this will be another Once first.  Which means, Adam and Eddy can really do whatever they want with the character.

I don’t remember Belle’s mom present in the Disney movie

I was saying I beleve she’s dead in the Disney version. But the question is… How/Why does she die (assuming OUAT will go down that road). Maybe Rump killed her in the past (KIDDING!!! DEAR LORD I AM KIDDING XDD).

😈    *throws evil eyes at Watcher for even thinking it*  It’s bad enough we have the Regina/Marian situation.  We don’t anything else to that effect.

 

I’m with RG, I never remember any version of Beauty and the Beast where Beauty/Belle (a lot of versions she’s just named Beauty) has a mother.  Not counting  the Disney version, certain things are usually present in the story:  her father is a merchant, her sisters are spoiled, and there is usually a magic ring and mirror involved in the story.  And my favorite part, which also Disney never included….the beast asking her to marry him every night at dinner.  *sigh*

It’s been a while since I can recall the original telling, and even that it’s still folklore and aural tale originally that changed through the years.  But I doubt they’ll stray from the Disney version of the tale.  Much like Snow White’s and Cinderella’s mothers die when they are young, Belle will be motherless.  Fairy tales aren’t kind to parents.

Unless Belle’s mother just sealed away somewhere…probably the Original Snow Queen(Elizabeth Mitchell) knew her, and has something to do with her….disappearance.

And as for Outlaw Queen…ummm…”it may not be a triangle?” I have no clue how we’re supposed to take that, but, Adam and Eddy will get the benefit of the doubt for the next few weeks. I trust that they know what they’re doing! (I really don’t, but as I said….benefit of the doubt!)
