Meaning, prepare to eventually plot a course for what the show bosses dub “Neverland-adjacent.”
I wander if “Neverland-adjacent” refers to physical proximity to NL or Neverland itself but just with another spin (like a parallel-dimension NL).
This is what I’m caught up on too. It’s anyone’s guess at this point, I suppose.

We have the illusion of thinking that we know what’s going on, because we “know” the stories, but what they are actually doing is telling a completely different story. Basically they are just using names and locations and then “spinning” them to be whatever they want. However, I will say that Wendy does seem consistent with the traditional Wendy, as does Hook (up to this point). I think what we will see is a kinder, gentler Hook as he relates to Bae as a boy. I agree somewhat about the “mentor” idea, but I think something happened to damage that. When Neal said Hook’s name in Manhattan, it didn’t sound like he was saying it in a good way. Maybe Bae found out about Hook’s plan for revenge against Rumple, Hook wanted him to join him, and Bae refused?
Love the idea of Belle and Sneezy regaining memories through the Well. I still want that kiss.
Neverland adjacent is hilarious. I think we saw in Jefferson’s hat that many of the lands are adjacent and yet are able to be reached only by portals. Being “adjacent” doesn’t seem to matter in the least, unless it means “you can walk (or teleport) there.”

That’s what I think, too. Neal didn’t seem too worried about Hook after he attempted to kill Rumple. Neal just casually left Hook behind in the storage closet without a second thought.

April 30, 2013 at 3:19 pm #190036HappyEndingsSpectatorQuestion: Wasn’t Bae already gone before his dad called his mother? ❓

I agree with what you wrote—but this last bit….about adjacent might matter if you
can fly with pixie dust? rather than portal.HappyEndings:
Bae was gone yes, but time does not move in Neverland. So whether he got there 700 or 7 years before Hook, he would be the apparent age he left FTL.“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. No one is sure. The way I think it happened (which probably means it’s wrong) is that Milah and Hook did not go to NL but rather sailed around FTL and the other lands. I think Hook went back to NL after he lost Milah for the first time since he met her and that’s when he met Bae. I don’t think Milah and Bae met again after Bae went through the portal. But I could be wrong.

Since everyone one thinks Hook is a nice guy, do you think Hook would have left Bae without his mother ❓

Well, I don’t know that it was Hook’s decision. Milah made up her mind to follow Hook and abandon her family. It’s not Hook’s responsibility to tell her “no you can’t come with me because you’re married and have a son.” He is a pirate after all. He even makes a joke about how he’s had many wives of married men. If Milah chose to go with him, then it was her decision and Hook wasn’t going to stop her.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 30, 2013 at 3:38 pm #190044kfchimeraParticipantI think Bae left Hook.
This is what I think the time line is–
1) Milah and Jones meet, she runs off with him.
2) Bae jumps in the portal.
3) Rumpel meets Milah and Jones, kills Milah. “Hook” is created.
4) Bae in Storybook London (technically has no magic, but is in flying distance of world that does, Neverland).
5) Bae goes to Neverland.
6) Hook goes to Neverland.
7 ) Bae and Hook meet
8) Bae leaves Neverland
9) Hook leaves Neverland for FTL, invades Regina’s castle, sent to Wonderland etc.Now 6 & 7 could be switched, doesn’t matter. This way BF didn’t lie–Bae did go to a world without magic, just not the SB world without magic.
I agree with Rumpelsgirl. The only thing you could fault Hook for with Milah is that he fell for the type of woman who would leave her child and not even leave a “dear john” letter for her husband to break up. Then again, there wasn’t exactly divorce and visitation in the FTL, those are modern concepts. So when you think of it that way–what she did was awful, but it may have been in her mind the best she could do, and perhaps Hook realized that. He says something like she “begged” him to take her. I think he took pity on her and later fell for her (after realizing she was a tough lady who could adventure as well as any on his crew).
