Besides I thought it was already known that the character with the hood on was Young Bae and they didn't want it revealed that he was on set. That is whom the person whom visited the set was talking about whom was under a hoodie and they didn't want pictures leaked. HookedchoseEmma is the url tumblr. She revealed that she took pics with someone but could not reveal whom it was because of spoiler leaks but once she saw the pics of Young Bae across tumblr she confirmed that is whom was under the hood.
This is news to me, I haven’t seen it be mentioned in the spoilers forums I go like this one and FanForum’s before.
Oh really well isn’t it kind of obvious? I mean a pivotal part of the finale is the relationship between Bae and Hook so it would make sense they would not want any of that stuff revealed. I thought it was already known that it was young Bae under the hoodie.
Isn’t Hook/Peter usually portrayed with a dark father/son undertones? The mini-series “Neverland” even made that more explicit by having Hook be Peter’s surrogate father, the latter’s mother being his former love.
Was it really portrayed as that? All I remember was that Peter was an orphan and Jimmy aka Hook was like the leader of their gang and then they all sans for Peter got transported to Neverland with Peter following afterwords. It’s not revealed till near the end that Hook killed Peter’s father because he took his mother away from him and then Peter cut off Jimmy’s hand which had his dad’s watch with it and it was swallowed by the crocodile.
No not really. The most that Hook/Peter is portrayed is that Hook represents Pan as an adult, and it’s the idea of this that Pan tries to fight with all his might of growing up. In the actual sequel to the tale Pan literally becomes Hook.

Ok, then I’ll consider the Hook = Pan theory. But the Pan/Hook animosity is such a huge part of the mythology of PP that to make them one and the same…I don’t know. You lose so much story potential. When I believed that Neal was also Nealfire Pan, it could go either way: Hook and Pan as enemies or Hook and Pan as father figure to a lost boy, which would have been a great way to explore Neal, Hook, and Rumple.
I do think Hook’s backstory is really important and will shed a lot of light onto this whole situation, but I think at most he’s a lost boy.Well the animosity can still be very much present it will just be a consistent inner struggle between Killian’s good side and bad side and it goes along with the quote villain trapped inside a heroes body/hero trapped inside a villains body.

If young Bae is under the hood that doesn't mean he's in present day SB. Peter Pan can travel to our world, that's part of his story. Young Bae may have stumbled into SB back when the curse was first enacted and actually run into Gold, who didn't know who he was. I don't think him being under the hoodie is the biggest spoiler of the finale.

I agree, it’s possible. Like Rumple and Regina.

Well, Vancity Filming took shots of the Lost Boys and Dylan separately and not only Dylan wasn’t wearing the cloak, but I also think the hooded guy seemed a bit too tall to be Dylan.

Yes, it was, you might want to watch it again. It’s why it pained him so much to find Jimmy killed his father, he felt betrayed that the one person he cared about the most in the world was also the one who left him orphaned. In fact, I often compare Jimmy and Peter’s relationship and backstory to a what if Severus Snape raised Harry Potter.
April 8, 2013 at 5:38 pm #185028MatthewPaulModeratorI’m glad we were at least able to get an answer that Tamara wasn’t anybody else. Neal likely not being Peter is actually interesting, if this is the case. Makes Peter Pan’s identity more mysterious. Knowing the writers, though, I wouldn’t be surprised if all of the Peter Pan “hints’ with Neal were really red herrings all along.

GASP what if Hook is the infamous Peter Pan!?The problem I have with this theory, since I read it a few months ago on another board is….
One of Peter Pan’s main characteristics is that he was a 14 yr old boy.
Hook was already an adult when he went to Neverland.I’m well aware that K&H put their own twist on the stories, but, to change “who” Peter Pan was and what such an iconic character was written to represent would be a stretch, even for these guys.

How many of these hints were hints specifically to the Peter Pan character and not Neverland in general, though? I’ve never given much thought to it because I hated the idea that Bae took a detour from his intended destination of The Land Without Magic, I only ever remember the “Neal Cassady being called the Peter Pan of his time” one. 😕

Daniel, the host of the podcast and the runner of these forums is really against the theory that Nealfire is Peter Pan or a Lost Boy. So if it turns out that Nealfire is one of those two, Daniel is going to drink coffee (which he loathes) on the air while podcasting.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 8, 2013 at 7:37 pm #185056PriceofMagicParticipantI hope Nealfire isn’t Peter Pan. At the moment Neal’s character can go in any direction and be hooked up with any character. If he is Peter Pan, then his character becomes a lot more confined.
All magic comes with a price!
