Ausiello: Elsa will actually play a very important role in Emma’s life, especially with regard to magic. Explains Jennifer Morrison: “Elsa’s definitely helpful in terms of her starting to figure out ways to focus her power, control her power and try to use it as effectively as possible.”

So her role is major for the second half? And what does he mean about her name? We’d be confuse because the name is a new and un familiar one? Or because she is a Disney character but we don’t know how she fits in the story?

I think it’s this. I think she’s playing one of the three sisters–the other two being Mitchell’s Snow Queen and the the third being Elsa and Anna’s mom.
