Oh no, no, no this is un-acceptable, Jo 😛 Flyn has to be one of the most smug, arrogant, and most d-baggy Disney dude ever created. I wouldn’t mind beating him upset the face with a skillet fresh off the stove. Now THATS a smoulder… Badum tsss.

I think Tangled is a much better movie than Frozen. Not a fan of Princess and the Frog, though

The only good thing about Tangled was Gothel and her songs. I hated the music in Tangled, the characters, it was just blah. Frozen was a ton better (even though its no Wreck-It-Ralph :P) Princess and The Frog could have been a tad better but I liked it more than Tangled. Music was better too.

Anyway, as for Naveen, I read this article a few moments ago which speculates the sane thing I did and also gives a theory that Lily may be the daughter of Tiana and Naveen.

It’s possible that this character could simply be one of Prince Hans’ 12 brothers from Frozen, but Prince Naveen also fits this description. Most Disney princes are dashing heroes who can do no wrong (Prince Charming, Prince Phillip, etc.). However, Naveen acts like a selfish jerk when he’s first introduced in The Princess and the Frog.

There’s another new Once Upon a Time character whose name might be a nod to The Princess and the Frog. During episode 5, Once will introduce a recurring character named Lily. She’s a teen with a “charming, take-no-prisoners punk exterior and the heart of a secretive, insecure opportunist.” Perhaps her name is a reference to the lily pads that are often associated with frogs (it’s a bit of a stretch, but you never know with this crazy show). She could be Prince Naveen and Princess Tiana’s daughter — or she could be the Once Upon a Time version of Peter Pan character Tiger Lily.

Sometimes the casting calls have fake names for the characters, other times they don’t. Did Lily’s casting call specify race? Because if they were casting the daughter of Tiana (the first BLACK princess) or Tigerlily (native American), then you would think they’d want to keep to those ethnicities. Lily could also be a reference to Tiana but it would be wrong to make Tiana white.

I’m not a fan of Princess and the Frog either. It was an okay film but the songs were forgettable and not really catchy. From a Disney film, it should’ve been better.

Gothel definitely was a highlight of Tangled. The mother knows best reprise is my favourite song in that movie. Flynn was likeable and so was Rapunzel.

It did not specify race, meaning that “Lily” (whatever her real name may turn out to be) is most likely white. If they made Tiana or Tiger Lily white, they would be crucified by the critics. Making Rapunzel black was an interesting (if underwhelming and ultimately pointless) twist but to change the ethnicity of two POC’s to white…oh ye gods. The yelling…. would  never stop
