TVLine’s Michael Ausiello and Matt Mitovich talk “Once Upon a Time” starting at the 5 min mark. Lots of good Rumbelle spoilers starting at 5:39.

THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE DARK DARK TUNNEL.

    I will cry forever now.

PS: I *love* Matt Mitovich. LOVE.

Certainly sounds like Belle will be appearing to him more than once. Will be really interesting to see how she continues to influence him on his journey through NL. Splitting them up like this could make for some seriously powerful romantic scenes for them.

I agree. I think we’re going to see some really beautiful Rumbelle moments.

(PS: does it sound like we see SB in 303 to anyone else? I thought we weren’t getting any SB until 306/307)

I think he’s just commenting on the first 2 eps in relation to definitely no SB, because those are the only 2 eps the press folks have seen so far and leaked all the spoilers for.

    Ah, good point.

Even though I was really upset at Belle being left behind in 222, it sounds like it’s going to be worth it in the end.

The writers love to separate their couples so as the make the emotional pay-off that much greater:

    • – Snow White and Prince Charming for the first two seasons. Regina would stop at nothing to keep them apart: curses, fake marriages, fake murder. Then, after Emma broke and curse and everyone thought the family would be together, Emma and Snow got sucked through a portal. Snowing was separated so much that everyone said “enough already!” by mid-way through S2.
    • Rumbelle have been separated for the majority of their relationship, first by Regina, then by Belle’s secondary amnesia, followed by Rumple heading to NL without her.
    • Neal and Emma were separated by her destiny to break the curse, then by a fake fiance, and now because Neal sacrificed himself so that Emma could be with Henry. Too bad Henry is now being held hostage by PP. At least we can have faith that like Henry said, his family always finds each other.
