Question: Will Once Upon a Time pick up right where they left off in the finale (like, is it the next day after Jekyll and Hyde come to town)? Or will there be a few weeks where the town is normal — the “calm before the storm,” so to speak? — Shannon
Ausiello: The answer is A) not the next day nor B) weeks later but C), Season 6 will open just moments after Hyde arrived in Storybrooke and ominously greeted Regina. From there, says co-creator Adam Horowitz, “What the Untold Stories characters are, what their whole deal is, is something we’ll explore.”Question: I am really excited for the next season of Once Upon a Time, and my question is: What new characters will we meet besides Hyde? — Iris
Ausiello: In addition to the previously scooped Sinbad and Scheherazade, the ABC series is casting for the premiere the role of Morpheus, as in the Greek god of dreams (versus, you know, Laurence Fishburne in The Matrix). He is described as “an old soul in a young body,” someone who is equally good at reading people as he is at hiding his own agenda.[adrotate group="5"]June 27, 2016 at 2:38 pm #325093RumplesGirlKeymasterbut C), Season 6 will open just moments after Hyde arrived in Storybrooke
He’s going to make his invisible friends visible?!

I think this will tie into Rumple’s mission to wake Belle. Morpheus is the Greek God of sleep, so either Rumple is searching him out, or somebody who will fill that particular role. I can’t quite think who else it could be.
June 27, 2016 at 4:19 pm #325096PriceofMagicParticipantClearly “Morpheus” is going to be played by a young actor. Question is, how young? You don’t think “Morpheus” is going to be the sand man do you? If he is, maybe one day we’ll get the bogey man?

Funny enough, I would not hate this.
June 27, 2016 at 4:33 pm #325100TheWatcherParticipantGod of dreams?…..Nyx was the goddess of the night…. Just saying >> *adds into list of reasons Aladdin might appear* Its a possible connection here. But this Morpheus guy sounds shady!!!!
I wonder if perhaps he’s the Black Fairy (could be a plot twist, eh)

Nyx is actually Morpheus’s grandmother in Greek mythology.
Family tree time!
Nyx and Erebus—Hypnos (and twin brother Thanatos) —-Morpheus (and, maybe 1000 other siblings including Phobetor–god of nightmares–and Phantasos–god of prophetic/fantasy like dreams. )

Keeper of FelixJune 27, 2016 at 6:39 pm #325103rainbow2ParticipantIm surprised they are going back to greek gods, thought that was something from last season, maybe Zeus will appear again nad before saying something else, i`m going to research about it to make sure im not writing wrong stuff and then be acused that im saying things i dont know about, so a bit research, to make sure that i saying the right thing, will be probably the last time i do it on ouat, especially bc this is @RG area, i may mix some things bc not everything on internet is right, but im sure @Rg will correct me if im wrong.
June 27, 2016 at 6:39 pm #325104rainbow2ParticipantMorpheus is the Greek God of sleep
Hypnos is the one related to sleep and Morpheus is his son and the god of dreams. Hypnos actually lives in the underworld, at least according to what i read, but im sure @RG is the one that can confirm if im mixing things.
But this character will appear in the premiere, may be or not a good person and seems may be another “peter pan”, old but still young, but if the premiere is about Emma, or about Hyde or even about Regina maybe one of them has a dream about something, like a prophetic one, although im sure there is probably some god about prophetic dreams and in that case those dreams are not Morpheus area.
