ParticipantThe only thing that goes against that PP does not intend to kill Henry is the line Felix had saying “oh you are not the boy? Then you get to live”. Felix may not have known though what PP wants or why. Given how PP treated GOAT I think his motto may be “need to know basis and you do not need to know” and easier to get Felix loyal if he does not say we need this kid to really believe to keep the staus quo.
I know A&E talked about Pan as being like Kurtz from Heart of Darkness, the Joseph Conrad novel. Pan enjoys being a demi-god to the others but they may be seething with rage and resentment against him, so if they knew he had a weakness, they might rebel. In the original PP novel/Play the other boys want to go with Wendy and he alone stays.
I wonder if Felix thinks that Pan wants Henry’s shadow? We’ve seen that having that ripped can kill a person, so his line about Bae getting to live would make sense.
Something else I’ve been wondering is whether or not the Lost Ones still have their hearts? Or did Pan yank them out, to ensure blind loyalty of his posse? If Pan can take hearts, could that be how Rumple discovered it was possible, if he witnessed it on a visit to NL?

I forgot about that line. That does imply that PP wants to kill Henry. Or at least take his heart/shadow

I think Felix knows a lot but does Felix know everything? He may know that PP has a plan to save NL, but not know the extent of it.

ParticipantMaybe Felix is being played just as badly as GOAT were?

Possibly. But, if we put this another way, how much do generals tell their lieutenants anyway? They give them orders and maybe a brief overview of the plan and the juniors are expected to follow. Felix is obviously ruthless enough that he has ZERO moral qualms about what PP is asking them to do–if he’s responsible for watching over the Lost Boys. I really want to see Felix and PP interact and get a sense of how they perceive each other. How long as Felix been in NL? Did he ever question PP (my gut says yes and thus hence the scar on Felix’s face)?

Oh totally, which is one of the reasons I’ve wondered whether Felix may have had his heart taken. What I’m wondering though is if Felix is under the impression that Pan’s plan is something worse than what Pan’s actual plan is? Like, does Felix think the plan is to ultimately kill Henry, but the actual plan is to keep him very much alive, (and Felix is the one who’s gonna get dead instead)?

ParticipantThe Lost Boys and Peter Pan want Henry to save magic… because magic is dying [in Neverland].” And that is a bad thing because…? “If magic is fading, maybe they’re getting older,” Gilmore guesses. “Then they can’t stay young forever in Neverland.”
I have a feeling that having filmed 7 or 8 episodes, Jared Gilmore would’ve figured out the reason why Pan wants Henry. So, I’ll take Jared at his word when he says the reason is that Henry needs to save magic. We saw a bit of this in 3×1 when Pan said the pixie dust was useless. While Pan certainly was testing Henry’s belief, I think Pan might actually have been speaking truthfully. Maybe PP has lost his belief and so he can no longer fly. I have a theory that Pan and the Lost Boys are stranded in NL. That is why we’ve only seen the Shadow, rather than PP himself, flying between NL and Earth.
I think that PP needs Henry’s figurative heart rather than his literal heart. You’ve heard the expression, “He’s full of heart” which means someone is full of life, confidence, courage, or in this case perhaps, belief. Probably, Pan needs Henry’s belief to rub off on himself and the other Lost Boys, which is why they’re playing games. In ‘Hook’ Peter had grown up and lost his belief, so he couldn’t imagine the food in front of him, but then the Lost Boys were full of imagination and the food they were pretending to eat suddenly manifested to PP when he allowed himself to believe again.

ParticipantPP has been looking for Henry for a very long time. I don’t think PP or the lost boys have necessarily been getting older but are aware of the possibility that if they don’t stop the magic fading, they could get older. It gives them a sense of urgency why they needed to find the boy asap.
I also like the idea that Henry has to willingly give his heart because it would explain both Felix’s line “it’s your lucky day boy, you get to live” and also the reason why PP won’t just kill Henry straight away.
I still think there is more to Felix than just PP’s head lackey.

I’ll agree it could go this way, but given Felix’s “it’s your lucky day boy, you get to live,” line when Bae is discovered to NOT be Henry, I really think Henry has to fork over his physical heart willingly.

I’m torn about this. On the one hand I can see why people would think that, we’ve had a lot of Felix interaction. But on the other hand, why would they usurp PP’s role in the Neverland mythology by placing someone of their own creation at the head of it all? This is the NL story, it makes sense that PP is the big baddie. Someone may be pulling his strings but I don’t see it being Felix.
There is no question that Felix is just as devious and malevolent as PP, but to me this is like Lucius Malfoy and Voldemort. Sure, individually they are both extremely scary but you put them side by side and Malfoy pales in comparision to Voldie. This is why I really want some Felix and PP interaction.

SpectatorTHE PARENT TRAP | As touched on in the season opener, Snow and Emma will struggle to get a handle on their mother/daughter dynamic during this 11-episode Neverland odyssey. “They’re really going to address it this season,” effuses Ginnifer Goodwin. “Every time we went to address it last season, we’d be interrupted by a thrilling plot obstacle, so the fact that we’re now stuck in a place where we have to address this dynamic is everything I’ve ever wanted out of this show.” Add in robust banter between all of the other core characters, and, “We all have said, ‘It feels like the pilot again,'” Goodwin relates.
I hope it is like the pilot again, they lost me in Season 2 when they didn’t do this as soon as the curse was broken!!!
BABY TALK | TV Guide Magazine recently hinted that one of the Once women might have baby on the brain this season. And many eyes — if only by process of elimination — are on the Charmings. “It’s possible,” Dallas allows. “You’re just going to have keep watching!”
See I thought it was Snow
Kudos to the person who figure out that NL is dying and everyone is aging.

ParticipantPP is the big baddie, but I think Felix is someone who could really screw over PP if given the right motivation. (In my headcanon Devin is Felix’s younger brother who gets killed by PP which doesn’t go down well with Felix)
