I think it would be interesting to see how they deal with trying to carry on with their lives in SB after everything that’a happened, i thought that would be what series 2 was about but they didn’t really touch on it very much. After a episode or two of everyone freaking out they all seemed to go back to their normal jobs… would they even do that? Belle’s dad was a king in FTL would he just carry on working in his little flower shop? And Regina was ‘asked to leave’ as mayor, packed up and left, but then in one episode she just went back into her office and started sifting through her papers again as if she had never left! So i think there is so much they could do/explore in SB if they really thought about how the characters would try and live their lives and keep their identities secret while at the same time jumping to places like Neverland/Oz instead of doing flashbacks to FTL.

Again, that is past history the final battle thing was a joke there isn’t going to be one it was suppose to happen as soon as the curse was broken but it didn’t.
There is no other way home to FL, at least with Hooks ship they can go places or with the pixie dust perhaps. Sure they will use boring SB for some things but I doubt if they all return there together besides Hook can’t be with them forever either.
August 21, 2013 at 11:56 pm #206158RumplesGirlKeymasterGOAT aren’t going to make it out of NL alive, most likely. If one of them did, Greg most likely, he’ll probably leave SB altogether and try to forget everything that’s happened. But like I said, it seems very unlikely that GOAT get out of NL at all.
You do not know that the final battle was a joke. We do not know what the final battle was in reference to. Rumple just said that the final battle would BEGIN when Emma broke the curse. How do we know it hasn’t begun? How do we know that the final battle isn’t playing out right now? It truly started when Rumple brought magic to SB and all of S2 and nos S3 were about the repercussions of that act. Rumple was utterly cryptic about that final battle and we know nothing else about it.
I don’t know what you are trying to get at with Hook. Why can’t he be with them forever? He’s a full fledged member of the cast, he creates Drama for several of our other leading cast members (Emma, Neal, Rumple, Regina) not to mention is insane popularity with the fanbase. Hook being around has nothing to do with if they can leave SB or not. There are other ways to come and go. The hat, maybe pixie dust, if they can find the slippers…ect.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 22, 2013 at 12:02 am #206160PheeParticipantPretty much no one expects GOAT to make it back from NL alive, but the people they were working for in our world will likely still pose a threat to SB. That’s why Rumple gave Belle the cloaking spell, to keep people from finding it. But if THO have ways to destroy magic, (as we’ve seen demonstrated with the taser), I’m sure they can get through a cloaking spell.
The “final battle” thing was purposely vague, like any good prophecy will be, it was not a joke.
There may well be a way for the masses to get back to FTL if they’re re-growing beans again from the plant that was left in Regina’s office.
And Hook can be around for as long as they bloody well please. He’s one of the most popular characters on the show, so frankly, it’d be a bit stupid of them to write him out of the story any time soon.
August 22, 2013 at 12:04 am #206161HappyEndingsSpectatorHe tells them to get their child to safety. In 28 years she will return to find them and the final battle will begin. As Snow and Charming leave, Rumpelstiltskin demands to get his end of the deal. With great reluctance Snow White turns, “Emma. Her name is Emma.”
Well what happen let me see Regina and Emma fight over Henry, is that the final battle?
August hides, Cora is killed and she had the most power seem to know more they Gold. That Tamara and Greg thing was a joke, Emma took one of them out I can’t remember who it was.The writers said NO MORE Beans.
So what will Hook do in SB?
August 22, 2013 at 12:07 am #206164RumplesGirlKeymasterWe don’t KNOW what the final battle entails. All this family drama, Cora, GOAT, NL, PP, ect could be leading UP TO the final battle. This is the precursor. These are the waves that cause the flood.
The writers said NO MORE Beans.
So what will Hook do in SB?
And I didn’t say beans, now did I? It wasn’t on my list at all.
After all the time spent in NL trying to save Henry he’ll be closer to the cast a whole. He’s a suitor for Emma or maybe Regina. He has HUGE history with Rumple and Nealfire. They are WRITERS. They know how to write drama and how to create story.

Again, what job would Hook have a tour guide for a fishing boat or what?
Snow doesn’t even teach anymore. Regina planted herself back in as Mayor.
August 22, 2013 at 12:28 am #206175PheeParticipantThe writers said NO MORE Beans.
The previous bean crop in SB wasn’t grown from a bean, it was grown from a CUTTING off a plant. A teeny, tiny cutting. They have a whole freaking plant’s worth of cuttings in Regina’s office, so growing more is still a possibility IMO.
They are WRITERS. They know how to write drama and how to create story.
THIS!! We can theorise all we want, but often, what actually happens is something else we haven’t thought of but K&H have. Imagination is infinite and each person’s ideas are individual. There are MANY storylines involving Hook, SB, and anyone and anything else that they could come up with. To sit there with a closed mind and say, “there’s no story potential with that so they’ll just ditch it”, is counteractive to the creative thinking a show like this is born from, and inspires.
August 22, 2013 at 9:07 am #206219HappyEndingsSpectatorJust thought I would post this link: https://oncepodcast.com/forums/topic/is-there-17-doors-in-the-mad-hatters-hat/
Looks like they can go other places jumping back to SB to me doesn’t make sense. Note: we have been or will be shortly to SB,FL,and NL. That leaves roughly 14 doors to go through.
August 23, 2013 at 3:18 pm #206455obisgirlParticipantI hear there is another Oz drama making the rounds from Heroes alums Adam Armus and Nora Kay Foster, with Heroes creator Tim Kring supervising.
I am semi-interested in how Kring will re-interpret Oz. I still miss Heroes.
