Okay, so I have a very twisted theory about where Cora’s heart, or more precisely, who physically has it in their possession. So this Sunday, we will learn Cora’s back story and get to see OUAT’s take on the Miller’s Daughter. We already know from earlier this season that Cora is hiding her heart somewhere for safe keeping and we already saw that nasty-stomach churning kiss between Rumpel and Cora in present day.
Then, there’s also the gag worthy sneak peek. But OMG, I have a twisted theory that what if Rumpel has Cora’s heart? Like we already know that he has all sorts of objects from fairytale world in his pawn shop. What if at one point, Cora ripped out her own heart and taking that metaphor even deeper, gave it him for safe keeping because she didn’t want to feel anymore?

Interesting. Though, Rumple’s vindictive enough that once Cora had betrayed him and didn’t give him Regina he’d crush her heart to get what he wanted. But, it could also explain further why Cora and Regina are breaking into Gold’s shop: not only is he in there but so is her heart.

He would already crushed it or that would be such a huge proof of love that this were overpowering Belle and as Rumbelle shipper I am against it. If he had her heart he don’t know it. I think her heart was on the Jolly Roger or in the books of spells and is maybe know in the Family grave. Maybe in Reginas secret room.

I think if he had possession of it he wouldn’t have been so worried about the possiblity of her coming to town. He also wouldn’t have assumed that she was already dead. The fact that he was willing to strand Emma, the one who owed him a huge favor to help find his son, in present day FTL makes me think that he doesn’t know where it is or if he does he doesn’t remember (and I greatly doubt that he would forget something THAT important).
I do think he has a connection to it somehow (he probably taught her how to remove hearts, that love is weakness, etc etc and may have even helped her remove her own but she’s probably the only one who actually knows where it is.

The thing is, if it is there, I would think that Cora wouldn’t know. She seemed mighty confident about her heart being in a safe place when she confronted Hook in Wonderland.
Well if Rumpel has her heart as insurance, her having his dagger would not be that big a problem, would it? Just crush it and voila, problem solved… So I don’t think so… Or if he has it, he doesn’t know it.
Actually, I think it could be in Regina’s heart vault. If she “inherited” that one from her mother, it could well be mixed in with those other hearts. That vault of Cora’s in The Doctor looks a lot like Regina’s vault in Storybrooke. If only Cora knew which heart was hers, there’d be a bit of safety there.
