Yes, the secret is annoying because of

    a) echo caves

    b) dark spots on hearts, or lack of them at certain points in the timeline.

    c) Snow not being able to keep other people’s secrets, but keeps her own well enough (okay , she was a child, I’ll let this one go).

The orb on top of Mal’s staff seems a different color than the one she used to contain the dark curse.

I can’t really remember, but if I am right then maybe Mal has news of Regina’s plan to enact the dark curse. In return,

    1) maybe she wants safe passage to our world outside of SB for Ursula and Cruella , or maybe Mal has a daughter (Lily) that needs protecting, and she wants safe passage for her, too. Maybe , Emma has a twin, Lily and Mal wanted to take Lily, for whatever reason. The BF would have to become involved here, I think ,or maybe Rumple.

    2) Like someone else said, maybe she wanted to bless Emma….but with the greatest potential for darkness to protect herself and her friends in the new world from Emma’s will to beat the villains. (I am not sure where this blessing would fit in the few minutes between Emma being born and her being put in the wardrobe).

And I remember in the pilot, Charming saying something like ”the animals are abuzz with the Queen’s plan.”

Maybe it was Cruella using the animals to send constant feedback about what Regina was doing.

I had thought of this as well, but in the original tale, the fairies blessed Sleeping Beauty after she was born. Once changes things alot, but I thought they might keep this aspect of the original tale. Or maybe not, maybe you are right 😉

Let hope its not to much like the original fairy tale, because I recall  hearing sleeping beauty getting raped when she was under the curse. For some odd reason, she also was able to give birth to twins 9 months later without even waking up.  Although how she slept through the labor pains I would never know. You know   there are times were fair tales are  so weird that it makes this show seem possible.

Has there been a time when we saw Snow or Charming’s heart without a black spot? Maybe the black spot was on Snow’s heart long, long before what she did to Cora.

I’m convinced their secret is linked to how Lily wound up in the real world…maybe Emma wasn’t the first baby they banished.

Why would Snow do that though? She just thought, oh Maleficent, you’re not fit to be a mother so I’m just going to take your baby and send it to another world? I hope there’s a bigger reason for Snow doing what she did then what I just hypothesized.

Well, it is a crazy idea, and I realize that.

Based on spoilers, though, we know that the Unforgiven flashbacks happen after the honeymoon/medusa episode. That means that whatever happened between the Charmings & the QoD happened after a) Regina retrieved the curse (that was approximately the day after the public wedding) from Maleficent, b) David & Rumple put that egg into Mal’s dragon body, and c) George and Regina were both defeated and their kingdoms under the Charmings’ control. It’s also before (or around the time of–I currently have those events a year before her birth) Emma’s conception. It’s also likely before Cinderella’s wedding (which is a timeline headache at this point).

Not sure timeline-wise how it fits in with Aurora being cursed. Phillip was cursed by Mal sometime during Skin Deep or before, and it’s possible the two of them were both cursed for some time before they were reunited.

Not only will the Charming Family secret be revealed by the end of Sunday’s episode, fans of a certain friendship will be treated to a confession scene that is heartwarming, jaw-dropping and tear-jerking all at the same time. (So yes, tissues are a must)

However, Horowitz warns that Snow’s confession is merely the “tip of the iceberg,” and that this revelation will subsequently alter the way you classify what makes a hero and what makes a villain. “Our hope is that by the time everything is revealed, you’ll see it really informs who they were in season one when you met them,” he said.

It mentions a friendship, so I think Snow’s confession will affect Regina, too. Maybe, before Regina enacted the dark curse, she put a curse of her own on Regina. Perhaps this was part of the deal they brokered with Mal in some way.Either that or Regina just simply gets to hear the confession but Snow’s secret has nothing to do with her.

It could also be written to throw us off the scent. I’d prefer it if it was Regina confessing to Emma that she killed Graham.

Well, for a <del>forced</del> friendship to exist between Regina and Emma, Graham needs to be forgotten.
