ParticipantHi there! I guess I should introduce myself as I’ve already made a bunch of random, long-winded posts. 🙂
I’m Cat, I’m a new fan of the show, and clearly have more than my fair share of feelings about it, haha… I’m really happy to have found an active place to have some in-depth discussions about the series, with any luck I’ll eventually share some fan works.
Outside of OUAT, I’m in to comics (Fables anyone? Yes? Yes?), cooking, and Japanese street fashion. So yeah- a little bit all over the place. I also spend a fair amount of my time crafting etc, and I’m really excited to see the cool things people here have created.
So… hello! I hope we can talk about super great things soon!

ParticipantWelcome to the forums Cat! This is a great place to be, the people are very nice & there’s always something interesting to talk about. I haven’t read Fable but I’ve heard that it’s interesting. Right now I’m reading The Wheel of Time books & the Fairy Tail manga. I also like to do plastic canvas. Again, welcome 🙂

Thanks! I’m glad to meet another manga fan. Current series I’m collecting include “Afterschool Charisma”, “Black Bird” (totally a guilty pleasure), “Vampire Hunter D”, and “Soulless”, but I have a modest collection of manga I’ve collected over the years as well. Lately I’ve also been reading the new translations (and old scanlations) of Sailor Moon because I’m stoked for the new series this summer. 🙂

ParticipantI don’t read much manga tho. 🙁 I’m more into anime because it’s faster to know the story that way although the story in the manga is better. Also all my reading time have become mostly exclusive for the Inheritance cycle, Harry Potter, I had to restart The Wheel of Time after reading the 5th book & some other books that I don’t remember right now. Btw, have you read Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles? I watched the anime & read part of the manga to supplement some things, but I never understood how Syaoran’s clone can be his father. To me it’s like who came 1st the egg or the chicken? I think I’ve heard of the titles you mentioned but don’t really know anything about them, I’ll check wikipedia to see what they are about.

ParticipantI’m definitely a big Harry Potter fan.
I haven’t read Tsubasa, although I was in to CLAMP back in highschool- but I guess that’s now become the “old school” era. Haha, I guess a lot of those characters were recycled in to Tsubasa, right?

ParticipantHello Cat and welcome to the forums! 😎
Haven’t had the time to read much of the Fables comics, but it’s on my list.
¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯

ParticipantOh do look in to it. If you’re a fan of interpretations of fairy tale characters, it’s got a fantastic story and great art. The first few issues are a little bit “Okay guys, this is how the universe works, this is the setting…” but it very quickly develops into a great tale.
