Unanswered Questions for WL 1×05 – "Heart of Stone"

I seem to have a lot of unanswered Wonderland questions which I hope a lot of them will answered during the last 5 episodes of the season. Some are just fun to theorize about. I’m creating a thread under each episode with these questions. Feel free to add your questions, answers, theories, etc. regarding this episode. Have fun! I can’t wait till March!

Unanswered Questions for WL 1×05 – “Heart of Stone”

1. Where is the “White King” now? Is he really the White King or is he different King?” Is he dead or just imprisioned? Did RQ kill him so she could be with Will again? Could it have been a test from Cora to have RQ rip out the king’s heart & probably crush it?

2. Was the “White King” ruler over all of WL or just part of it?

3. How does Cora play into being a ruler as well? Was Cora in WL before or after Ana & Will came to WL and Ana marrying the “White King”?

4. Where did Lizard go after spying on RQ touching stone Knave?

5. Is Cora & Ana’s mom related?

6. Was the “White King” previously married? Where did the red crown originally come from? Could it be the king’s mom’s crown?

7. What will the RQ do with the rest of the magic dust? How will it protect her from dark magic?

8. Where did Ana learn about WL because she knew which mushrooms can make you grow bigger?

9. What was Ana’s life like before meeting Will? How did Ana meet Will?

10. Does Ana’s mom know that she became a Queen? Would she be proud of that fact or condescending since it took Ana to travel to another world to become one?

I would say dead for sure. I think maybe he died of natural causes, leaving Ana alone.

I think Cora met Ana after the WK died. BUT I do think Cora had Ana take a heart as a test of loyalty: Will’s.

2. Was the “White King” ruler over all of WL or just part of it?

Part of it? Just the “chess” board part of it

3. How does Cora play into being a ruler as well? Was Cora in WL before or after Ana & Will came to WL and Ana marrying the “White King”?

Eh gad. Timeline questions.

Ok. Will and Ana left the EF more than 3 years before the Curse hit (Marian in 9mo preggo in Lacey which takes place 3 yrs BC and we know RH hasn’t met Marian yet in “Forget my Knot”) However, I don’t think it’s more than 5 years before the Curse.

–Regina pushes Cora through the mirror 10 years before the Curse

–RH and Knave meet maybe 5 years before the Curse

–RH meets Marian about 4 yrs BC

–RH breaks into Rumple’s castle 3 yrs BC

So by the time Knave and Ana get to WL Cora has been there for maybe 5ish years.

6. Was the “White King” previously married? Where did the red crown originally come from? Could it be the king’s mom’s crown?

Hmm. maybe. He’s a bit older so I would imagine so.

8. Where did Ana learn about WL because she knew which mushrooms can make you grow bigger?

Good question.

9. What was Ana’s life like before meeting Will? How did Ana meet Will?

Ana’s mother seemed to think that she could marry very high, so I they were landed gentry–well off, but looking to climb.

I have this headcanon that because of all the StablePrincess parallels to RedScarlett, Wil was working in Ana’s stables.

A few answers to my unanswered Questions for WL 1×05 – “Heart of Stone”

1. Where is the “White King” now? Is he really the White King or is he different King?” Is he dead or just imprisioned? Did RQ kill him so she could be with Will again? Could it have been a test from Cora to have RQ rip out the king’s heart & probably crush it?

Answer: According to 1×11, He was the Red King. He’s presumably dead because it sounded like Cora wasn’t fond of the RK and had plans for RQ when teaching her magic that sounded like he was going to be killed.

2. Was the “White King” ruler over all of WL or just part of it?

Answer: According to 1×11, he must have only ruled part of WL because Cora was the Queen of Hearts in this episode. Cora treated Ana like a replacement daughter and probably had wrapped around her little finger.

3. How does Cora play into being a ruler as well? Was Cora in WL before or after Ana & Will came to WL and Ana marrying the “White King”?

Answer: According to 1×11, it appeared that Cora was there before Ana & Will.

5. Is Cora & Ana’s mom related?

According to 1×11, it doesn’t appear so, but Cora somehow knew about Ana’s past with her mom.
