Tonight Ivy warns a newly awakened Regina to not break the Curse lest something very bad happens. What could that be?

Yep that is what I thought also, at the very least Henry would die. The question becomes how is a sorcerer who is just beginning to know magic figuring this out. It took Rumple over 150 years to figure this out and we are now saying some young girl who just learned magic will figure it out in about 10. I think this is where the witch comes in, maybe she became the evil teacher who helps Ivy develop and cast the curse.

That was my feeling as well.

Victoria has already said that she needs the Heart of the Truest Believer in order to bring back Anastasia so maybe the curse was cast in order to stop Henry from believing.

Whatever they said sort of gave me the impression that that might be a possibility. Though, since they don’t plan anything, those scenes might not have a lot of meaning.

But even without his belief, his heart should still be protected from S3 right?

From being taken, yes, but I think the writers could easily get around that if they wanted. They did for Emma

—Unbreakable curse, intriguing. Thoughts and a crack theory coming up.
First, technically the curse is not “unbreakable”, it’s just impossible to do so without consequences. Drizella said that something bad would happen if the curse were lifted, with strong implications that Henry and/or others would die. That is not technically “unbreakable”, just strong incentive to stop the heroes from breaking it. Leverage as it were. This is not a nitpick, but an interesting and possibly important distinction.
Second: my crack theory. Say we assume that breaking the curse would cause Henry to die. I was wondering, how does that work? I mean, specifically how does a curse make that happen?
I could only think of one scenario. (That I could think of anyway.)
How does breaking a curse cause someone to die? What if the curse is the only thing keeping them alive? Like, what if Driz killed Henry right before casting the curse, and then had the curse create a phantom version of him? Like, it’s really HIM, but he’s still just a construct of the curse?
Remember, she told Regina to think of what was the last thing she (Driz) had done before casting the curse! And that’s when Regina began to tear up! 😮
And it would make double sense because it would also prevent Tremaine from using Henry to bring back Anastasia!
The most interesting part of this theory is that curse!construct Henry is still real enough to BREAK the curse with TLK!
<end_crack_theory>
Yeah, sorry! 😉

I wonder if the fact that a storybook didn’t appear in Cinderella’s closet is important. We know Henry is the author, so is this story not being recorded or was the storybook destroyed, and that somehow does something to them.
Just because the storybook was mentioned in that Season 6 scene, i just think that makes it important somehow. They were trying to protect it and i keep thinking they might not have succeeded.
Though i also imagine that whatever the thing is that was done will probably be easily fixed by just some random deus ex machina. This show has not had consequences in years.
