BUT I am not convinced at all that Hook = Pan. Not anymore. In the synopsis released for the show, it says Bae meets a vengeful Hook and in the USA promo we see the creepy yellow eyed (still creeped out…) Pan floating outside Wendy’s window. Hook and Peter are not one and the same.
That “synopsis” was confirmed to be fake.

Confirmed by whom? Do you have the real one? (if yes, please post it in the press release thread over on 221). Because given last night’s episode AND the 8 mins we’ve already seen, that synopsis seems pretty legit to me.

The events of last nights episode particularly with the Hook description of the episode dealing with the magic beans completely contradicts the synopsis.
Also it came from IMDB probably the most unreliable source on the web aside from wikipedia. I wouldn’t put much warrant on what can be found on IMDB.

You mean this part? I don’t see a contradiction. Hook has clearly aligned himself with Tamara and Greg and he is the person to ask/tell about the beans, as he we have seen him use it twice now.
Hook returns to Tamara to let her know of the magic beans that the residents of Storybrooke have been growing.
Again, even though the beans have beans have been burned, Hook would be the one to tell GOAT about them, where they could go, what they could do. No one else is going to tell them.
So until an official one comes out, I’m working off what we have.

I hope NL isn’t super dark. Rather, if it is a place for lost souls, I want it to parallel a dream world instead, a place between waking and sleeping.
Agreed. After the heaviness of S2, it would be nice if NL was a sort of fantasy land. It is supposed to be where you never have to grow up, so I’d like it to be more whimsical.
If it were super dark I highly doubt Wendy would be so excited to go there. My best guess is like the Neverland we all know, sure there are dark places but also fun & exciting.
Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.
April 29, 2013 at 4:29 pm #189703PheeParticipantAll the ideas about what Neverland may be like are fascinating. Really can’t wait to see K&H’s take on all of this!

He’s the only one to have actually seen the beans in Regina’s office. And if he was smart, he didn’t already tell GOAT about them off screen during The Evil Queen. Those beans were his insurance policy. He had to see how the thing with Regina would play out first. If it turned out Regina got the best of GOAT, then he wouldn’t want them getting the beans that he and Regina would need. Now that it is in fact clear that GOAT have the upper hand and are the ones he can use to his own best advantage, he can safely let them in on the secret about the beans in ep 21. For the last part of that scene with GOAT vs Regina, Hook stood back and watched, taking in what the others were doing and saying, so he could calculate his next move.

But check out the thing with the creepy eyes that she’s all super excited to fly off with. Dunno that I’m willing to trust Wendy’s judgement of what’s exciting, just based on that brief clip. ๐

I keep watching that part of the promo because it freaks me out so much. They’re just so GLOW-Y.

I think the eyes aren’t meant to be sinster, even though they glow. As I mentioned at the start of this thread: I found the trailer for the Disney version of Peter Pan. You can see Peter sorta has glowing “cat eyes” at the 6 second mark: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ih-4XE1Ubi8

April 29, 2013 at 4:41 pm #189707PheeParticipantThat bit in the Disney trailer is also creepy! Any shadowy figure with glowing eyes = creepy in my book.
April 29, 2013 at 4:43 pm #189708RumplesGirlKeymaster๐ I don’t think the glowy eyes are supposed to be sinister either, Slurpeez. There is just a major “EEK!” factor going on there. Especially as he also appears to be see through, hovering outside a window, and then fly off with a little girl.
