Regina and Facilier have a rather steamy past, apparently! How do you think they know each other? What happened to them in the past? And what is the deal with that necklace? Also, how is Facilier awake in HH?

Honestly I’m pretty annoyed with this storyline. So apparently at some point Regina had a fairly steamy relationship with Dr. Facilier and we know nothing about it nor has it ever been hinted at. The writers could have developed a relationship between the two beginning now and built it from there but instead they are going to muddy the already muddy waters of Regina’s past and try to awkwardly insert a sexual past with a super powerful warlock from a totally different universe. It made me roll my eyes so hard. I really don’t get why they think we need a Faciler/Regina relationship at all. It doesn’t add anything to Regina’s storyline this season which is supposed to be about saving Henry. *sigh*

I agree. They should have just had Regina meet Facilier in the present or in the present flashbacks, not way in the past some pre curse Regina flashback. There is just no need for that. There is really no need for Regina to have a love interest at all. I still just don’t think she will ever be stable enough to be in a relationship, neither her or Zelena or Rumpel or Hook or fake Hook are stable enough to be in relationships, in my opinion.

Here she is being in a relationship with another villain, a villain who knew her as the Evil Queen. That doesn’t seem good for her either. Her behavior makes it seem like he wasn’t good for her. Every character shouldn’t need a random love interest to find their happily ever after.

I don’t see any chemistry and I don’t see where this past relationship fits into Regina’s Evil Queen past. And I don’t like a relationship thrust on us that we now have to assume happened like Ella and Henry.

Also, this new relationship is going to waste the little bit of screentime that Regina has right now anyways for something that no one really cares about. I would rather have her interact with Henry, Rumpel, and Zelena then with a new character. Though, i imagine Facilier will be involved in the plot with the witches somehow, possibly as the killer, so that is at least better then what they are doing with Henry and Ella who really need to regain their memories so they can take part in the action instead of always being part of the boring side plot.
