So. Emma is dating a monkey.

Do you think Walsh died? Do you think we’ll see him again? What were his orders from the WW? Why was he trying to prevent Emma from going to SB?

I was surprised they made that reveal so quickly, with Emma being completely aware of what he really was.

They did a great job with the Monkey CGI. Walsh was legit scary.

I remember one spoiler article saying Walsh had a scar, which I didn’t pick up on on first watch, but I guess if so, that was there to confirm that he’s the same Monkey that Robin shot with the arrow.

It seems he was sent to keep Emma away from SB, considering he was pissed that she’d taken the potion and remembered who she was.

Which means that the Wicked Witch doesn’t want Emma there for some reason. Is she the Savior once again?

Possibly. Though maybe it was more about keeping Henry away.

I had been thinking that if Zelena wants to really torture Regina, it’d help her cause to have amnesiac Henry in SB, but not actually able to live with Regina because he doesn’t know who she is. But perhaps Henry’s the key to breaking the new Curse, so he needs to be kept far away.

I agree I think that Henry will need to get out of his amnesiac state and become the truest believer in order to break the new curse. Although what happens after that no one knows. will Storybrooke once again e in danger of popping out of existence forcing them to go to Enchanted Forest only to be brought back the premiere episode. Looking at you season 2 ep 22 and season 3 episode 12. dont let this be a pattern. either keep or ditch. please onte: i say keep storybrooke.

Is the bit about the furniture store significant beyond how it was used in this episode? It’s an oddly specific detail.

I agree. It was so random for it to not NOT be important.

    Here’s a non-random clue about Walsh:

First clue I thought that Walsh wasn’t what he seemed. He takes her to a restaurant called Ostria… OZtria… [x]

Here’s an interesting theory. What if prior to becoming a flying monkey, Walsh started out as the Tin Man? Think about it. He owned a furniture store, which could tie into his occupation as a woodsman. He also wanted to win Emma’s heart. Perhaps Zelena promised the Tin Man a love life in exchange for servitude, and walla he’s a disguised flying monkey dating Emma. Of course Walsh could simply just be a flying monkey and nothing more, but hey why not share a theory.
