ParticipantI think Hook will end up as the next Charon, not exactly free from the underworld but not exactly a prisoner. This show has got to do Pirates of the Caribbean sometime.
That would be interesting, but they kind of already did “Pirates”. I was shouting “Black Spot” in this one, every time they talked about how they were “marked”. đ

Well they squandered the opportunity to make him related to Davy Jones, (seriously why did they even name their pirate JONES if they didn’t have a plan to attach him to Davy Jones somehow, the fandom have been expecting it pretty much since the day Hook showed up) so I guess that would be the next best thing?

ParticipantEmma going to rescue Hook from the underworld sounds a lot like the tale of Orpheus and Eurydice, with the genders reversed. I think we’ll see some re-imagined version of that.
Since we’ve already seen Charon, will we see Pluto too? I thought it might be appropriate to punctuate the question with a recent New Horizons’ photo of Pluto and Charon:

I think the heart-shaped region of Tombaugh Regio visible on Pluto makes for nice symbolism of Emma going to save her love.

ParticipantI just want to see Cruella and hear her sass again! Also if Hades isn’t the sassmaster he is in Hercules I’m gonna be disappointed.
What would make a great redemption arc is Rumple trading places with Neal and staying in the Underworld with the DO darkness. Hades could help with tying the darkness down there, I bet he has a trick or two up his sleeves.
Didn’t Merida have some leftover  Dead Man Tell Tale Ale? Do you think Belle or someone else will use it to communicate with the Brigade Below or are they gonna just forget all about it?

ParticipantJust realized something….since they’re alive in flesh and blood going to the Underworld? Shouldn’t the atmosphere be slowly killing them like it was in Hercules Movie?

That only happened when Hercules swam in the River Styx.

Oh that’s right….but knowing Hades….it’s gonna be hard for him to pass up having the Savior, Fairest Snow White, Prince Charming, The Darkest Dark One, The Evil Queen, The Legendary Outlaw, & The Author as part of his “dead” collection…..what’s seriously making them think they can just waltz in and waltz out of Hades’s Territory like that?
And how awkward would it be if time in Hell is slower than time outside….what if a whole two years have passed when they’ve only been in Hell for a couple of weeks?

ParticipantYou guys have come up with far more interesting theories than I could have. I still hate the premise. Frankly, Iâm tired of getting what âmight be fun to seeâ instead of a well-woven story.
Ditto that!
