Didn’t you think it was odd that the Mrs Darling without asking her husband says that Bae is staying with them ❓
Didn’t you think it was odd that Wendy never told her parents about PP before? Also, Wendy told Bae that she wouldn’t go with PP but she did why? ❓

Well we don’t know much about the family dynamics of the Darling family. While it may be a hundred years ago, Mary Darling could have been the boss of the family. And historically, women were charge of the children and household while the men were expected to work outside of the home. The spheres of influence were different depending on sex.

I don’t think it’s odd at all, actually. I think it keeps with what we know about PP in its traditional mythology: that he is something unique to children. Adults have a hard time seeing or believing in him.
As to why Wendy went with PP after she told Bae, I think that can be answered quite simply: curiosity. She didn’t believe Bae when he said magic is evil and comes with a price. And if there is a shadow figure telling me I could swim with mermaids and be free from adults, I’d go to."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 6, 2013 at 11:32 pm #191708KebParticipantBig Ben was built in 1858, so that means Bae could not have come through earlier than that if it’s our London. Hm.

May 6, 2013 at 11:40 pm #191711RumplesGirlKeymasterSo let’s say he came through around 1858 and then returned in 1991. He spent 133 Earth Years in NL.

Then he came through to about 1900 and was in NL for less than 133 years.

Yes, and considering that Bae is between 275 and 280 years old, there is a time gap of around 150 years missing, give or take a few years. Where did those years go? That’s one heck of a long ride to our world.

May 7, 2013 at 12:57 pm #191874RumplesGirlKeymasterI need A and E to tell me what they mean when they say “time is linear” because obviously things and people can move through time and space. We saw it with the apple and Rumple said as much in the Return when he’s talking to August (when he think he’s Bae).
I just want you to know, that ever since you left, ever since you crossed the barriers of time and space, in every waking moment
So what does it mean that time is linear but then they also say that there is no time traveling.
It could be that FTL is less developed by 1900 as our world is, therefore Bae doesn’t move in time so much as he goes to a more developed universe. (Fringe anyone? The parallel universe was more advanced in some areas)"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 7, 2013 at 1:03 pm #191876kfchimeraParticipant@HappyEndings wrote:

I thought she looked rather like Milah–and her boys looked a little like little Bae did. I think she just felt an instant connection to him, that he could have been her son too and there was no need to ask, because she knew her husband would feel the same way. She was sort of the mother he’d always wanted to have.

That he went here, then here, then here, but that first trip through the portal was through “time and space” and he landed a long way down the linear timeline so jumped from point A to point B but is still going in a straight line.
There are a few things we’ve seen that jumps around but I think the point was that overall it’s a straight line, at least in regards to Bae’s journey. He just….skipped a massive amount of time going through that vortex (hopefully none of the other beans cause massive time jumps – I don’t think they do since Hook & Cora were able to follow Snow & Emma quickly though, just saying that was one massive time jump).
