In Apple Red as Blood we see Regina use her magic ring to work magic in SB. Well lets not forget there is another magic ring maybe even stronger. Who’s ring? Snow white’s of course. She keeps a ring that will guide her to her true love (it’s david’s ring his mother gave him) and that sounds magical to me. So the question is what bit of magic would they use it for. Maybe to bring back someone almost dead (Henry), to help break the curse, or maybe to find Bae so that rumple will break the curse.

It is not for certain if MM’s ring is magical. It never exhibited any magic before but afterall Emma does have magic and who knows who she inherited it from whether it was from Charming or Snow?

Magic may not necessarily be passed down genetically. I have also wondered about the magical nature of other objects. Though even if Snow’s ring has magic, i don’t want her to give it up like Regina did.

I think the magic that follows MM’s ring is true love. It will probably be something David if he regains enough of his past memories will acknowledge and remember.

Did anyone realize that MM does not have her ring? In “Heart of Darkness”, Regina was sitting peeling an apple and it was plain as day on her finger. Since true love follows the ring, does that mean anything now that Regina has it? Will MM get her ring back?

Mary does have her ring. Regina has a similar one, but Mary has her ring on her left ring finger. Ever since episode 3.

Are you sure? Because in that episode it focuses in on that ring on her finger and then David comes into the room and talks to her about MM. I’m going to have to post side by side screen shots because it looks like the identical ring.

I am sure. They are similar, but the color of the stone is different. Regina’s is more green then Snow’s. And the setting seems to be slightly different.

The writers have confirmed that they are different rings.

If Snow’s simple ring still has magic in Storybrooke, then I would’ve expected to see far more power things also have magic, like Rumplestiltskin’s dagger.

Hehe, I googled it last night and turns out I’m not the only one who thought they were the same. I did read a story on why Regina has a similar ring. I don’t know if it’s true, but it’s something about Lana wanting Regina to wear an emerald and then afterwards found out that Snow’s ring is similar, only hers is peridot. They let it remain even though they’re similar.
