What do you think will break the Dark One Curse?

We know the DO can be controlled or killed by the dagger.
Zoso was controlled than killed – transferring the curse to Rumple.
We saw spoilers that indicate Rumple is being controlled by WW/Zelena via the dagger.

So, what will be the “loophole” that allows Rumple to be free of the DO curse and still live?
