True North is one of those episodes I didn’t fully appreciate at the time. But looking back, we learned a lot about Emma, about her feelings of being an orphan, and even about the identity of Henry’s father. We also were first introduced to August in that episode, one of the greatest mysteries of season one. It was actually a good episode, with a lot of positive messages about family always finding each other, as represented by the father of Hansel and Gretel finding and embracing his children.

Hehehe, I kind of want to steal your reasons for my own now slurpeez 😉
