I don’t think that Regina and Mr.Gold can send people back to the fairy tale world. That would defeat the purpose of the curse wouldn’t it?
I think it was in the first episode whenever Emma brought henry back to Regina and asked her if she loved Henry. Regina says, “ofcourse I do.” and they made it look like she was lieing, because thats the reason Emma stays. Because she wants to make sure Henry has good home because of her gilthy concious. They’re starting to make it seem like Regina actually loves Henry and I felt bad for her whenever she gave Henry the game and he said he wanted to see Emma.
Then she went all evil on Katherine and I was hating her with a passion again. I think that she wanted Katherine to disappear and is going to use her somehow to get David to fall back in love with her.

Great first post, IndyandMarion!
Maybe the next episode will be of another search party in the woods—this time for Kathryn instead of David. Odd turn of events?Thank you.
Not as odd as it might sound. Remember, Kathryn went in search for David in this reality and also in FTL (To help get the water). So, given how painfully annoying David is being, I’ll be willing to bet that he’ll feel guilty for what happened and lead the group that sets out to find her. Reversing the roles in reality.
Side question: I know FTL stans for Fairy Tale Land, but what are you all using for “our reality”. I might have seen it on the forums, and I just overlooked it.

I think it will be more THE HUSBAND is the suspect / or MM becomes a suspect in the disappearance of Kathryn and it will take almost the whole season to clear up the mystery.

February 21, 2012 at 7:07 am #137483miaParticipantAnd Regina will probably be blamed again. Emma’s become too suspicious of her. 😉
@IndyandMarion: I’ve been using the short RW for “our world”, short for “real world”. I know both worlds are real, but just to make a distinction. I don’t like OW, ’cause it reminds me of the gamer’s short for overweight. xDFebruary 22, 2012 at 12:26 am #137505hjbauParticipantMaybe the queen took Kathryn’s fake memories away. Then Kathryn would have woken up in a car, driving. She would have had no idea what to do and would have crashed the car. She wouldn’t know where she was or where to go back to so maybe she would have just wandered off into the woods. If there are places that are similar in both worlds maybe she will find a place like that. I could just imagine her wandering around with no memories at all. And if it is at least half an hour drive to the border that is a large enough bit of land to get lost in.
February 22, 2012 at 1:48 pm #137526obisgirlParticipantWhen real-world Frederick came to the car, her airbag had deployed but there was no sign of a struggle and she crashed just before the Storybrooke sign. I have a crazy theory that she got sucked into a portal and the portal deposited her into the isolation ward underneath the hospital.
February 27, 2012 at 5:04 pm #137756SlurpeezParticipantI posted this in general theories/discussions as well. After thinking about this question, one prediction I have is that Dr. Whale, who sort of works for Regina, may be involved in Kathryn Nolan’s disappearance from Storybook. If he really is the Big Bad Wolf, it would be in keeping with his character.
Kathryn visits David in hospital, and Dr. Whale is in the backgroundAlso, I think the car accident reveals that there was a crash, as indicated by the air bag. The open door suggests that Kathryn may have been dragged from the car after the crash.
The second part of my theory is based on this spoiler:
According to Entertainment Weekly's interview of Adam Horowitz: “Have we seen the last death this season? Or can we expect more carnage? AH: 'Boy, I don’t know. You never know. As Henry said to Emma in the pilot, the final battle will be begin. Unfortunately, with final battles, there are casualties.'” http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/12/23/once-upon-a-time-scoop/
I think Kathryn is dead. I think the fact that there is an investigation going on means that she hasn’t just disappeared, but there are suspicions that Kathryn was murdered. Regina, probably assisted by one of her cronies like Dr. Whale, is connected to Kathryn’s death. While I don’t think Regina transported Kathryn to another world via a magical spell, I think the fact that Regina went to such great lengths to burn Kathryn’s goodbye letter to David is her way of framing Mary Margaret. As Princess Abigail said, “Some people will stop at nothing to stop the happiness of others.”

February 27, 2012 at 6:12 pm #137759king arthurParticipantYes, unfortunately I think Kathryn is dead or near-dead. Likely with Regina being behind it all. Kathryn was becoming too aware that Storeybrook reality is not true reality, just like Graham. (His name always makes me think of crackers.)
