Are we still thinking that Anastasia may be Cinderella’s stepsister? Does it fit with the t-word? Does the t-word even exist anymore?
The tword is super confusing right now with regards to the EF of the past.
In the chat people are proposing that Mal cursed Marian and that’s why Robin went after a wand. But *to me* it seemed like Robin hadn’t even met Marian yet. He seemed very comfortable with his band of bothers, doing right.

In “The Price of Gold” both sisters were mentioned living in Storybrooke.
I think the flashbacks we saw, the text mentioned it as ‘a few years ago’ in the Enchanted Forest. Which makes me think, Will and Anastasia were somehow saved by the curse because of Cora’s magical dome thing.
If that’s the case, Anastasia here was living a pretty crappy life with Will and Cinderella’s Anastasia and her sister and mother were living a good life in Enchanted Forest and continued to live a good life in Storybrooke. It doesn’t make any sense for the two to be the same character because their lifestyles contradict each other.
I hope that makes sense.

I do agree with you. I think for her to be Anastasia, the Knave’s love and the Red Queen is enough.
I now think that the Ashely/Cinderella appearance in 101 was really just to tell fans, “yes Ashely is still around! Here she is!”
The few years is troubling, though, now that you mention it. I think what you’re getting at is that Will and Ana and Robin and his Merry men were all inside the Dome when the Curse hit, so it was easy for Will and Ana to leave for WL? (is that right?)
The issues I see with that are: Mal was in SB with Regina and according to Mulan in 201 to Aurora, time was standing still in the EF during the 28 years. So it was like SB, doing the same things over and over with slight variation.

In 104, Price of Gold, when Emma is questioning Ruby about Ashley’s family Ruby tells Emma that Ashely has a step mom and two step sisters that she doesn’t speak to. And then Henry says something cute like, “She’s a maid and she has TWO step sisters?!”

When the Knave is telling RH about Mal’s castle, RH saiys “The one thing we never mess with is magic.” Contrast that to his “I love magic” in Lacey and general acceptance of it in 301 and 303 and I think we’re looking at some time before Lacey.

They do not choose names at random, so the Anastasia has to come out of somewhere. I can only think of those 2 (the Russian princess & Cindy’s step sister). Maybe I’ll do some research on the name.

The name Anastasia means “resurrection” which I think ties into the RQ’s overall story arc, that’s she’ll be “born again” as Ana at some point in the series, reuniting with the Knave.

Yep.
Interesting that RQ and Jafar seemingly hadn’t been aware that Will was in WL. That means that when the Rabbit went to get him, it wasn’t something that RQ put him up to, it was his own little personal detour. If RQ has screwed with Rabbit’s love, then it’s probably a bit of payback on his part to bring RQ’s lost love back into the game.
Guess this squashes the theory that RQ is Grace’s mother. Only way that would work now is if she left Jefferson and their daughter to shack up with Will instead, but Anastasia seemed so sweet and hopeful that I can’t really see her having done that. Did anyone else wanna scream at them, “Don’t dooooo eeeeeet!” when they were about to jump through the looking glass?
