This is Rumple we are talking about, he (we assume, as regina got the curse off of him) made the curse, he told Regina how to enact it After giving SW, PC & all the FTL folk the speal about they savior breaking the curse, so to me it seems he’s been a hatching this plan for quite some time & Im not entirely sure eveyone else will get what they want or expect when its broken. After all Rumps NEVER actually said they’d like what happened when Emma broke said curse, nor did he say things will go back to the way they were or that everyone would have their happy endings back – I REALLLLLLLY dont want them to end the curse with either everyone staying in reality or if everyone aside from Emma & Henry went back- Thatd just Suck IMO!
I wonder what would happen if they all go back to FT land tho- would Emma be a baby & Henry not exist OR they all go back as is & Snow n James have to introduce an older (than them) Emma as their Daughter?!? Awwwwwkwwwwwaaaaarrrrrrd!!!!! 😆
[adrotate group="5"]April 4, 2012 at 10:56 am #140893miaParticipantImagining Emma in a princess dress being introduced as Snow&Charming daughter is one of the funniest pictures I have in my head. She’d look gorgeous, of course, but totally out of place.
I think the main question there is to figure something out and answer this question is whether FTL still exists untouched (and empty) or if it somehow was destroyed (watching the Pilot it seems possible). For my part, I believe it’s still there and at some point people will return, but I doubt that everyone will. I could well imagine that some, like Red/Ruby, would like the world of SB better. No transforming so far for her, though who knows if it will stay like that.
Whether or when this happens’ written in the stars … or on a timeline only available to the writers. 😉April 4, 2012 at 12:06 pm #140904killianhookfanParticipantI thought I read a post somewhere that said that someone saw a picture of a tree that had come up in the middle of the main road in SB. I think it would be interesting if parts of FTL started to “come back” or “reappear” after the curse is broken instead of having everyone go back to FTL.
I also think it would be interesting if SB was suddenly on the map and ordinary “normal” people started moving into town and integrating with the fairy tale characters. It would be interesting to see how they would handle that situation. They couldn’t let people know who they are right away but they would need new people to come to town to keep the place going. And over time they would probably end up marrying normal people and then they would discover they had married fairy tale characters, etc. You could have characters from the other “worlds” come through the other doors to live in SB as well so at first no one would know if a new person was a normal person or a fairy tale character. It could be kind of a mystery to the “original” characters on the show – they could kind of take bets and follow new residents to determine whether they are normal or fairy tale characters. I think there are all kinds of things they could do to have fun with the show. Think of the fun they could have with holiday shows when in-laws come to SB to visit their “normal” family members and are surrounded by odd people that they can’t quite figure out!!
April 4, 2012 at 2:40 pm #140917dorothyParticipantI heard someone give out a theory that even after the curse is broken Emma might still have to defeat the Evil Queen in some sort of battle in FTL. I really hope that happens! 😯

They might get some rights difficulties with Bill Willingham and his Fables comic books. The premise is different, but what you discribe is very close to what also is part of those comic books. It would be fun to watch, though. 🙂

I always think it’s funny when things like that happen because I have no idea what you are talking about – I’ve never heard about them before. But if I had created a show about it I would end up getting sued!

They’re fun to read, not for children though. In it Snow White ends up married to Bigby (the Big Bad Wolf), who was the sheriff of Fabletown, New York, where they lived …April 4, 2012 at 7:06 pm #140951angiebelleParticipantI can’t wait to see what happens when characters start to remember! It’s going to be very awkward for Emma if Snow and Charming believe before she does and start claiming she is their daughter. It will be awkward even if she *does* believe! Can you imagine having to accept that someone who appears to be the same age as you is your mother or daughter?
April 5, 2012 at 2:18 am #140990surayyaParticipantHmmm I sort of figured SB & FTL are one in the same, it was just transferred to its non magical counterpart or here by EQ’s curse hence SW glass coffin being under the mines & the huntsmen/sheriff forest scenes with the wolf – same place different reality.
I do think it would be awesome if FTL elements stared reappearing in SB though, that would work nicely with the whole no one comes to SB & no one leaves part of the curse & also with Emma chipping away at it. Then they’d just slowly transfer back to FTL with all who are meant to be there & none who arent.
The only big problem I have with All of FTL folk staying in reality is then what does that mean for FT’s in general – is there no more? nothing happens? people/children loose hope/magic because that land & it people no longer exist? Do the sb/FT folks bring magic to reality? do sb/FT folks lose their magic? are they still the same (SB) versions of their FTL selves if they stay in reality or are they their FTL selves or a mix of the 2? do they forget their FTL lives if the curse breaks & they stay in reality but are free to live out their HEA endings…the list goes on & I think in them staying in reality it could go very pear shaped re story lines (although I do think rumplegoldfan thats would be an interesting development if they did stay, I really want the FTL folk to go back home to FTL as its their home/world & where they belong to me 🙂 ) -
