I know that is the horrible thing. I can see when he has to confront his son as Neal. Rumpel will see the hate of his son, but not only why he broke the deal. He will see that he destroyed Bae’s life once again, because he destroyed the relationship with Emma. Rumpel is a loving father. When he founds out that he taken his son the chance to be a father for Henry. It will cut him deep. To know that he take Henry ( his grandson) so far that he was killed almost two times, because of his course, there will be no corner to hide for his guilty and shame. Hook is in our world so Rumpel will have no one, when Belle knows about the end of his first wife, she will leave him, because he will not be the one who told her and then she will need time. Nealfire will left his father, I can not imagine something other. I now that this all is his fault. But I know I will feel sorry for him and hope there will be Henry to rescue him.

My thoughts exactly. This is another of the reasons I want Neal to be Bae so bad. Rumple is so used to using those around him as pawns to get what he wants. The only way he could be broken of that (and then have an opportunity at redemption) is for his schemes to severely hurt someone he cares about…and it would have to be in a way that he couldn’t find a way to blame someone else (like with Bell’s dad).

Not only would the things he did to Henry cut him deeply, but once it hits him that the one person who has arguably been manipulative the most by his plot (Emma) was the one thing that meant the most to Bae…

Poor Rumple…but i’m going to enjoy this.

I will enjoy this to, probably with a tear in my eye, because Rumpel is my fav.

I think it will be interesting from Bae’s view as well. The curse took all that from him, but without it he never would have meet Emma…talk about a moral catch 22

Somebody has the great idea that Mr Gold uses something from Bae to connect the curse with the right time in our world and we knew that he mad the love potion from Snow White and Prince Charming (James, David… What the hell his name?), so it could be that Neal and Emma was drawn together because of the incredients of the curse. Rumpelstiltskin maybe make the True Love of his son in an accident, but is it then really, magical destiny True Love or only the consequence of the Dark Course and the whole Love of them Fake?

Ok. I think it is True Love, but it would be a good twist in the show and brings back origin search for the True Love and the question: Is it really possibile to influence True Love? Or is True Love the only magic that guide and light the whole world in all the realms?

I think that was me that said that. But honestly I would like to think that True Love is the one thing that can’t be manufactured or planed. I mean sure Rumple could see it but I don’t want him to be able to influence it. He’s manipulated so much, I would like to see a limit to his power.

And honestly i’m such a SwanFire fan that having the Neal/Emma relationship manufactured would just cheapen it.

Yeah, so this is the reason why the two have to prove them, to grew together to found that the curse did not create them. Maybe in season 3 or 4… 😀

Nobody will get the heart out of Henry, because he is also True Love.

Yeah, I think that will be almost as much of a hurdle in the Emma/Neal relationship as Neal turning her in.

I don’t know if the heart thing is necessarily true for Henry, but I do think he has a big destiny all his own. If Neal is Bae and Emma’s true love, I think it will be up to Henry to restore FTL. He would be a product of the true love between the beginning and the end of the curse and with the way he was watching as Regina did magic, he’s interested in it. I think if anyone could do magic without it corrupting them it would be Henry.
