Is anyone else worried that Neal might be furious at Emma for giving Henry up?
Sure, that might make him a hypocrite. But Neal didn’t know about Henry…there’s a difference. Plus, if we look at Nealfire’s own parents, I’ll think he’ll have an issue with Henry being given away (no matter how good Emma’s reasons are.)
Waiting for the next SwanThief episode is killing me. I really want to see where the writers take this storyline.

“Why did you give him up. You had 20000 bugs. You could have tried.”
and she will say
“What you mean with 20000. I only get the yellow bug.”
Neal: “Of course. Pinocchio. He told me that he had problems with temptations. I am so dumb. I should never leave you and trudt August. I am so sorry”Heros don't get their Happy Ending!
December 30, 2012 at 5:41 pm #166601schmackyParticipantIf Neal got mad at Emma for giving Henry up for adoption, I would love to see Emma’s reaction. Pay for it really. Because she will give him the ass chewing of a lifetime and then a serious beatdown.
You know, there’s a difference between abandoning your children (Milah, Rump) and adoption. Or, in Snow’s case, only best chance.
It would be interesting if Neal was Bae because even how they were left to be alone is polar opposites. Bae was abandoned. Truly abandoned. First by his mother Milah. And then his father by not going with him. Both parents chose what was best for them instead of their child. Milah chose a life of adventure over her son. Rump chose power (and fear) over his son. But Emma was “abandoned” because her parents tried to do what was best for her.
And Emma did the same thing with Henry. Any reasonable, sane person would realize that Emma giving Henry away was what was best for him. If she didn’t put him up for adoption her baby would be 2 months old when she got out of prison and she had no job, no money, no place to live, no family, no friends, nowhere to go… how would she take care of a baby? More than likely Emma lived in the back of that bug for quite awhile until she got herself enough money to find a real place. Can you imagine Henry living in the backseat of that bug with her?
So yeah, if Neal gets upset about her giving up the baby… I’d love to see that throwdown.
December 30, 2012 at 5:54 pm #166603elleParticipantI think the fury would (and should) turn to Rumpelstiltskin. When they both find out that he was the one that got Henry for Regina, both of them will freak out and be furious with him.
I doubt he knew that Henry was his grandson. He has done a lot, but I doubt he would give his own grandson to the woman that he encouraged to become a killer.
But Emma and Neal probably won’t believe–his honesty record is not even close to being good, and Emma has never really liked Rumpelstiltskin, nor does she fully trust him. I think Neal would be more angry at August as soon as he found out that he did not give Emma the money, nor watch over her like he promised, and knew about Henry and (probably) never told him.

I agree, but I also think he would try and keep this from Rumple. As mad as he is bound to be at August, he doesn’t want him dead and Rumple has killed for less.
I kind of picture Marco overhearing the conversation and trying to fix it by promising Neal the money before he even knows how much. It would embarrass both boys and I totally see Neal not careing about the money itself, but the issue being more what not having that did to Emma and that without it, she thinks that’s why he betrayed her.

I agree. 🙂 No matter how angry Neal is at August, if he is Baelfire, he will try not to mention any names in front of his father. He knows his father’s wrath–like you said, Rumpelstiltskin has killed for less.
I think he will be afraid to see his father again–especially once he knows how his father has used Emma and Henry.
It would be funny about Gepetto thinking he could pay the money off, and then really look at the price. But I agree that Neal might not really care for the money–11 years have passed, Emma seems pretty well off. She has a job as Sheriff, and she’ll probably be able to get her own house, soon.

That's why I think he's running in the spoiler pics of Manhattan.
I think that would make him more mad then anything rather then afraid.

But I do wonder why he would run from Emma. He has waited for her for close to 11 years now. I guess it could come from shame and fear/anger of his father. I just cannot wait for this episode! This is one of the ones I really look forward to.
December 30, 2012 at 9:36 pm #166619gypsyParticipantSomeone on here (Sorry, I forget who, but, credit to that person – you know who you are :))
said that maybe Henry ran and Neal and Emma gave chase.I remember thinkning that could be possible…..if Henry found out that Neal is his father and realized Emma had lied to him….he’s a kid, so, he ran…..???
December 30, 2012 at 10:12 pm #166620tiara_roseParticipantBoth scenario would make sense and give the same conclusion. He is Bae.
