Yes, I wanted to see them all go back together in the yellow bug too, but maybe they’re saving that surprise for Nealfire to see later.
I really love that .gif (such a guy thing not to want to ask for directions) and tweet from MRJ. I also saw that he and a bunch of the other actors went go-kart racing again. It sounds like it would be a blast to work up there with them.
I do hope they make mention of the car…the expression on Neal’s face that she kept it all these years…priceless(I am expecting his trademark grin)…the expression on MM and David’s face that Emma/Neal lived in it…priceless as well…wondering if they’ll want to ride in it now though.
Yeah…I saw the thing about the races…MRJ won 😀 …poor Josh…from the sound of it he didn’t do so well that first round…good to see the actors get along so well outside of work though.
[adrotate group="5"]February 3, 2013 at 10:13 pm #171470playaritaParticipantThere a few options I do like.
Bae’s descendant meaning that Bae either lived his life straight away or became another character (say Peter Pan, met Wendy, true love etc). Only because I have a theory that the greater of power you are given, the greater the cost. What larger cost would it be for Rumple to lose his son? And now it seems he has lost Belle as well.
Baelfire himself is only because it’d be a sweet happy ending for Rumple but would his finding him be at the cost of losing Belle or will Belle eventually remember?
We were finally told that Neal is Henry’s father. So we will have to wait and see who is counterpart is (either a character itself or a descendant–of maybe another character)

I don’t buy into the descendant theory…as far as storytelling goes it has zero impact…if Neal and Bae are one and the same then Henry would be Rumple’s descendant…to make Neal a descendant instead of Baelfire himself would be redundant imo.
As for the Belle or Bae thing…I’ve wondered about that for a while…Does Rumple have to give up one in order to be with the other…I mean Belle is all of a sudden out of the way when it looks like he is about to find Bae…did the writers do that simply because they wanted to remove Belle for a while to build the relationship between Bae and Rumple or is there more to it.
February 3, 2013 at 11:48 pm #171480PriceofMagicParticipantSomeone tweeted Jane Espenson asking if we will see Rumple and Belle together again this season and she tweeted back Yes.
However the question could be interpreted in several ways such as fairytale land or Storybrooke, whether Rumple and Belle will be sharing a scene etc.
I don’t think they will kill off the Rumbelle relationship because it is very popular perhaps more so than Snowing. However, the relationship will have obstacles along the way, Belle’s amnesia is just one such obstacle.
Bae and Rumple’s relationship is the one that will probably take seasons to resolve properly. I can see it as a one step forward two steps back kind of thing. Rumple is going to make so many mistakes along the way, bless him, it’s going to be one massive emotional rollercoaster.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixFebruary 4, 2013 at 1:49 am #171487mich7ParticipantYeah…I didn’t think they would give up on Rumbelle…I just don’t think that it will go all that smoothly after hearing that Jane Espenson interview recently. I would not be surprised at all if it wasn’t a flashback instead of a happy reunion between the two.
I know some people like the angst, but too much of it gets me frustrated after a while…Vampire Diaries being my chief example right now…that triangle (I hate triangles anyway) has gone on far too long imo. I just hope Rumbelle doesn’t go on for that long…same for Swanthief…I love Neal and I love him with Emma but if they put too many obstacles in the way and the writers have her wind up hurting him I would probably want Neal to kick her to the curb…lol I sound like a protective mama bear. 😆

Can definitely see them having Nealfire reach a dark place – thinking any relationship with Emma is impossible at this point and that is father hasn’t changed..and when all hope is lost, he’ll turn a corner in Storybrooke and see the bug.
13 days till Manhattan!
…..and no promotional pictures, nothing official at least. Which feels weird since I keep seeing photos of Snow's motherall over the place…but I guess they have a lot of spoilers in this one. 😀
February 4, 2013 at 7:43 pm #171551cinnamonhummingbirdParticipantHey guys!
Just want to point out – on a rather insignificant side note – that I just love how the majority of poll voters seems to be convinced that Neal is Bae (52 votes) even more so than Neal being Henry’s father (51 votes)…like what?! 😆In regards of the promo pictures, I’m pretty sure they’re going to deprive them of us until the first sneaks will air next week, simply because most of them will be quite spoiler-y. I'll forecast it's very probable that they'll release photos of Rumple's fairytale background story than some from present time events going on in Manhattan.
February 4, 2013 at 8:44 pm #171559lilredParticipantWOW! Haven’t even noticed that!
There are people out there still convinced that Neal isn’t Henry’s dad. Not sure how (after Eddy and Adam confirmed it…) but apparently the motel scene wasn’t enough for some people to think that Neal and Emma might have had an opportunity to make a baby during their time together… 😆
We also have one person who thought none of the above..probably getting close to a poll change. I’m guessing most of these answer were pre-Tallahassee but it felt strange to start a new poll before Manhattan confirms or denies the whole Nealfire theory.
Two weeks till a new poll then!….but then, after I take it down, we’ll find out he’s also the White Rabbit, Peter Pan, the Wizard of Oz, and whoever that one person thought he was.

Yeah…odd that there are no promo shots…is every shot they got a spoiler or something. They could give us something even if it’s just Emma talking on the cell phone.
On the poll…don’t think that all of that is pre-Tallahassee stuff…I know of another forum where there are some posters who have questioned whether Neal is really Henry’s father…you can even explain it’s been confirmed by the writers and they don’t get it. Even had one say he thought that Emma might have gotten pregnant after she went to prison. Honestly I think it may be that some people just don’t want him to be Henry’s father more than they don’t think he is. imo
And to the comment about the hotel room…I don’t think that was their first time. Maybe it’s just my interpretation but when he takes off his shirt when they enter the hotel room and says you want to shower first I got the impression that he meant together…I mean they only had 20 minutes (I think that was what they said in the previous scene)…not a lot of time to be modest…I got the feeling that they had showered together before. I think the hotel room was when Henry was probably conceived but I just feel like it wasn’t the first time they had been together…but maybe that’s just me…and they do leave a lot open to personal interpretation since they don’t really show that much imo.
February 5, 2013 at 12:48 am #171580JosephineParticipantIt’s amazing how obtuse people can be. What was the purpose of devoting a whole show to Neal and Emma if she just ended up getting pregnant by a prison guard? Really. If logic and common sense weren’t enough, I guess we can’t trust Eddy and Adam when they confirm Neal is Henry’s father. Why should they know anything? They just create the plot and are the showrunners. Sometimes I dislike certain factions of fandom.
Oh, that definitely wasn’t their first time together in that hotel room. I’m not even sure that was where Henry was conceived. The purpose of the hotel scene was to show us their willingness to settle down and start a new life together…a counterpoint to what really happened. It emphasized that their dreams never did come true and fate often has its own plans. 🙁
