    My understanding of the promo was that this may be a Henry-centered episode, about him becoming a hero. Great time to bring in his papa – IMHO. πŸ˜€

    If Henry is in danger, could that force Neal/Baelfire to reveal himself to Rumple earlier rather than later? Even if he doesn’t figure out Henry’s his yet, can see Neal trying to save Emma’s son.

    Had the idea of listing everything we know about ‘Neal Cassady’ – kind of a way to get through this two week wait (possibly more.. πŸ˜₯ ) and maybe add the list to the first post.

    We know:

    He was Emma’s Ex
    He was the first person Emma said, “I love you” to. – Believe this was stated in Eddy&Adam’s podcast
    He is Henry’s father
    He has a scar from a knife fight on his left arm
    Was a thief
    Records claim he was born in New Jersey
    Had no idea what a dreamcatcher was
    But kept the one found in the hotel room

    YAY! More Neal! SwanTheif has become my new OTP. It’s seriously beginning to rival my love for Rumbelle.

    I think you listed everything so far, Lil’Red. Do we have any idea how old he is yet?

    Great idea, Lil’Red, creating a little (posterior maybe not so “little” anymore, haha) list about Neal’s character and possible speculations about a second identity and aims?
    Anyway, I don’t know about you guys but I’ll definitely make a re-watch of all season 1-2 episodes so far and collect some prospective information regarding Neal. Since Jen stated that she knew from the very beginning, means pilot of the series who Henry’s father would be you could assume the writers left some hints here and there, some of them could’ve remained unnoticed up to now. So, I think it’s worthy to let your eyes gaping wide open and re-watch miscellaneous episodes again and more attentive right through down to the detail.

    Oh, and btw fellow Swanthiefs, have you seen the following? Melt-worthy…I’d be so disappointed now if we don’t get to see that on the actual show. πŸ˜†

    Didn’t the wanted poster say he was born in 1977?

    I think Neal is Bae’s son though I could be wrong.

    Okay..but how can this be an obstruction to the Neal = Bae theory?
    Neal could’ve lied about his birthdate just as he lied about his real name. (I really doubt “Neal Cassidy” to be his actual name, because it would be way too weird and the connection between Neal and “August W. Booth” is quite obvious, and “A.W.B.” is clearly a false name.

    My Neal is Bae’s son theory is based around the fact that I believe the beans are a one time use thing. Emma would have come to our world in 1983 in order to be 28 in the pilot. It would make sense for Bae, having gone through the portal centuries before the curse, would have arrived in our wourld decades before anyone else.

    I’m not saying Neal can’t be Bae, he could be, just that I don’t think he is.
