I’d been thinking about this a lot, what if Ruby isn’t the only wolf in Storybrooke? Or if there isn’t another wolf, I would not doubt that maybe King George is behind some plot to frame Ruby. Because it seems like at the beginning of What Happened to Frederick, Red has pretty good control of the wolf. She wolfs out and attacks King George’s men, allowing James to get away.

I don’t know in that scene if she had control yet it seemed more like she was just kind of aiming it lol. I’m thinking there is another wolf in Storybrooke and King George is working with that person.

I was reading an interview yesterday, was one that Meghan tweeted the link for, and the way it was worded made me wonder if she’s even actually gonna wolf out. Lemme try and find it again…

“The curse was bad but in some ways it was great for Ruby because she didn’t have to deal with this other part of her that is now potentially coming back,” Ory explained of her character’s Jekyll and Hyde ways. “Figuring out how to deal with this and the possibility that this is a monthly thing in Storybrooke and what that’s going to mean for her and her friends, that’s definitely her biggest challenge.”

The words “potentially” and “possibility” make it sound like maybe she won’t change, like she’s fearing. I’d be bummed if that was the case though, because hard as it’d be to deal with, it’s still a part of her being that she’d have lost. I hope she can still wolf out, but can also still control it.

There’s the possibility that the whole pack of wolves who Red meets in this ep made it to SB, but from what we’ve seen of this ep, it sounds like she’s only concerned with herself changing, not a bunch of others, and if she knew there were likely to be others in town, she’d be frightened that they’d all change, not just her. So I’m wondering if maybe the pack was killed in FTL pre-curse. I could see that Quinn guy perhaps have being the lone survivor, and he could be in SB helping George frame Red for murder. There’s that one photo where Quinn’s going for Snow, so I’m not expecting him to be a cuddly puppy kinda wolf.

There’s one of the promos where Red’s in the cell and she’s getting up from having been sitting on the bed, and it looks like maybe she’s looking at someone she doesn’t like. Then there’s a shot of the door swinging open. I’m gonna guess that George and/or Quinn goes to see her, tranquilises her, and dumps her in the woods where Charming and Granny find her the next morning. Then George and/or Quinn kill Billy and plant clues around town that make it look like WolfRed did it, because if Sheriff Charming’s BFF is running around town eating people and he failed to stop her, that’s a way George can try to undermine Charming’s power and status in town.
