Has anyone seen this crazy theory? 😕 (Also: I’m not sure if it’s episode 10, or 9. I’m sorry if it’s in the wrong place).

Personally, I think it’s an overreaction. It doesn’t look at all like quite the right colour…
But if it is.

But I swear to the Once gods, if you touch a hair on that boy’s head I will lobby long and hard for your gruesome death. And, not if, but when you are finally torn limb from limb by some hellish beast I. will. feel. nothing.

Because Hook stole it from Peter Pan. 😉 Seriously though, it could be anything, just because it looks tattered and child sized, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s Bae’s cloak, (but part of me hopes it is).

Yes! I think second this theory. 🙂 Baelfire and Captain Hook certainly have at least one connection: Rumplestiltskin. How much more epic would it be if Baelfire is also Peter Pan? I could see Hook using Baelfire’s cloak as leverage against Rumpel. By making Mr. Gold think that Hook had captured or killed Baelfire, he’d surely cause even more psychological damage to Rumpel than if Hook killed him. Of course, since I now am 99% convinced that Neal Cassady is adult Baelfire, I think that if Bae and Hook had a run-in before in Neverland, that Bae escaped to our world and has been on the run ever since. I wonder what will happen if Neal shows up in SB and discovers that not only is his father, Rumpel there, but so is his arch-enemy, Hook! Maybe Bae/Rumpel will have to put their differences aside to team up in a major show-down with Captain Hook. Emma may discover that the two men who are besotted with her already have reason to hate each other.

If they wanna start showing Hook’s horrible side, that’d be a good way to do it. I love the potential for the character clashes in SB that would stem from Neal being both Bae and Peter.

Just had a crazy thought about combining this with the imposter theory…
In the other thread for this episode, we see shots of Emma and Snow entering Gold’s shop, and there’s a whole debate about whether the clothes they’re wearing suggest that they’re really Hook and Cora.
It’s interesting to think about what Snow/Emma would want to talk to Gold about. Anyway – we can probably guess what Gold will bring up: he can’t leave Storybrooke. I suppose the timing might be awkward with the “threat” of Cora looming on the horizon, but Gold might call in his favor and ask Emma to leave and find his son.
But obviously he’s not going to ask her to track him by normal means. He’ll probably give her something of Bae’s and that potion that finds the owner of the item – just like he gave Charming.
Could that item be the cloak Smee’s holding?
But without the imposter theory….why else would Smee have Bae’s cloak? What are they (Hook, Smee, Cora) going to do with it? Did Smee steal it so that Cora could use the same tracking spell to find Bae first? To enchant him? To curse him?
Also another thought: Maybe that cloak is magical. Maybe it allows the wearer to shapeshift/shrink down/become invisible. 😛
