I was listening to the Podcast for this episode and there was a lot of talk about what the land without colour that Dr Frankenstein is in could be. I was thinking that it is perhaps some kind of underworld where some of the less pleasant characters from books reside. What I mean is the more traditional horror type characters such as Frankenstein or Dracula. Not sure if I like this idea, just a theory. But if it was an underworld it could explain the parallels with our world such as the names of places in Germany being mentioned, it could be a reflection of our world just over taken by darkness hence the colour being gone

Porbably haven’t explained this very well….

Actually, I think the black and white is a nod to the old black and white movies that were made about Frankenstein.

Black and white movies add to the mood of the story and makes it spooky….. 😮 😮 😮 😮

    Don't grow up. It's a trap.

I think that’s a reasonable theory. We have very little to go on at this point.
