Personally, I’m happy with what they’ve got for now. Hook was a great addition. I’m sure Neal will be, too. I’d like for them to hold on to them, and slow down. It’d be nice if they would build on what they have, before introducing anybody else for a while, and that’s just for the sake of stability. There are just too many things happening at once, and too quickly. I’m getting dizzy! ABC needs to slow down!

I agree with Sarah_TN. This show has the possibility of going completely overboard with characters. I liked episodes of season one, where they introduced a new character, but it was only for one or two episodes and it focused on this character’s relationship with the regulars. If the show stays on for many more seasons (which I hope!), then they can do the 1-2 episode thing per “new character” without them taking quite so much time away from the regulars.

I’d love to see a Storybrooke version of the South Park intro. They could show everybody.

Boring, I really don’t mean they should be regulars, some may become regular but most are just for one or two episodes and will be re-used when needed.

Having only the characters we have now until the end starts to bore me pretty quickly, I love the forest-intro screens but without new characters those will also become boring.

I like most to be just like Hansel & Gretel, just one episode that has something to do with the main characters storyline, some could become regulars.

I would love an episode where one of the fairy tale writers gets through to our world. I think it could work really well with the brothers Grimm. They land in a different century here, so not in Storybrooke, and will have died many centuries before it even existed. But it would explain why we know the stories.
Oh and maybe Merlin? Defeated by Rumpelstiltskin heis tossed to our world as Rumpel “tests” a curse to reunite him with Bae, only this version is a few centuries off. Merlin arrives here though with magic (and if Merlin could look like Colin Morgan, even better…. *sniff* I want Merlin back!)

Ariel. She was my favorite Disney princess and my boyfriend’s too when we were both little. Robin Hood would be interesting (I’m actually watching the BBC version and can see, how parts of the story can fit on Once).

I’m not sure Pocahontas would work, because like Daniel said, she’s a real person. Plus, I would feel bad about her character being messed up even more, adding to the damage that Disney did to her.

Agreed about Pocahontas. There’s too much historical evidence that proves she’s not just some mythological/fictional character. In fact, she even has living descendants. Mulan was even somewhat crossing the line, but I’ll give her a pass because she’s treated as a legend and as far as I know there hasn’t been any evidence of her existence in the real world. Some defenders of Pocahontas being included might defend that a fictional version of her character could still exist in some other world on Once, but where do you draw the line? If Disney had never produced an animated feature based on her, she probably wouldn’t even be suggested.

Personally, I would LOVE to see Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series of movies. Add a little campy humour to the series. “Well hello Mr. Fancypants!” 😆

Keeper of Pandora's Box & The Yellow Brick Road.

Although I personally ruled out Pocahontas, that doesn’t mean we can’t include American mythology that doesn’t have a basis in truth:

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow – Who doesn’t want to see the Headless Horseman?
    Johnny Appleseed
    Paul Bunyon
    Pecos Bill
