This show and the forum, (and the spoilers) have saved my sanity this past couple of weeks. My feline companion of 14 years, Diamar, suddenly got sick, was diagnosed with lymphoma and passed away after her first chemo treatment. This show and forum is the only thing that’s been able to temporarily distract me from my otherwise constant melancholy. Without those time outs, I’d have been completely overwhelmed. It was actually sort of good timing for an ep I didn’t really love, (Selfless, Brave and True) to air, because it meant I could vent and rant a bit, and that’s exactly the unhappy mood I was in in general, so the show gave me an outlet for it. So thank you Once and thank you forum members for helping me through, even though you didn’t even know it.
Awww AngieBelle, I so understand you there. That place is for me the best Once place ever. It’s indeed more intimate, less bigger than other Once forums and it’s perfectly fine like this. I love the fact that here peoples are so open with others opinions about characters or theory. You know how it’s a rare thing on the net. Here we can agree to disagree in the literal sense of the word.
I’m a Disney lover myself, since I’m a kid and a Disney Park lover since the Disneyland Paris opening. I thanks Walt and the Disney Company for the magic they gift us with. As I thanks that place to exist : Thanks Daniel and thanks to you all you have made that forum a great place to spend time pleasantly!
About what happened to you AngieBelle , don’t let peoples get you down. There is very mean and nasty peoples out there. Don’t mind them. You know you aren’t a bad person so try to not let others say otherwise. It’s may not be so east to do but try to brush peoples who hurt you with their naughtiness. Like I said in another thread, they are only passengers in your life, and you can thrown them off this moving train. And you don’t know them as they don’t know you. So judging you on something you said without knowing you is plain stupid. And you don’t need to burden yourself with stupid peoples, right?

How I feel you Phee. I lost a cat who had Feline leukemia. I adopted him because no one wanted him because of his decease. I loved him so much that when he died the person that brought him to me said I prolonged his life over three years more. She was really stunned that he lived all that time. Now my eleven years old cat is diabetic since three years. I pray for her to live many more years. I know it’s hard but it will become more easy with time passing. You will find consolation. A big kiss for you.
This is indeed a wonderful board. I’ve been struggling financially the last year and things have gotten worse now that I’m a single dad suffering through a loneliness/depression phase… coming on this board and reading Once Upon a Time news really helps keep my mind off my worries.
You see, this is what fandom should be about. Bringing people together to bond over something they love, and helping to give you a boost in those moments when real life sucks. This is why I don’t understand people who are in fandom just to tear shows apart and complain. It’s far more rewarding when you’re in it for the right reasons.
Ser_Dragon, I’m glad you took in that kitty who was sick and helped him during those years. Sounds like you came along at just the right time for him and your relationship was meant to be. I hope your diabetic cat sticks around for many years to come.
