What was he drawing in the sand and is it significant that he blotted it out on the back step?

Looked to me like a house, maybe he’s dreaming of family lost and the mirror shoved him back into reality?

I caught that because they made a real point of showing the audience what he was doing. Not sure what it was but it did look sort of house like. As if he’s dreaming of SB.

When I re-watched that scene, I think it was a simple house too. Henry was thinking about home.

Maybe it was a castle, like the playground Regina built for him

Ironic is it not that he thinks of home only to be put in contact with the family.

Yeah I don’t think it’s a coincidence. It came across as very good timing but….are there coincidence where this family is concerned?

This was my interpretation: Kids visited NL in their dreams, so I assume when they woke up that’s how they left, without the need of a portal. The whole scene with the stick was illustrating how powerful belief is in NL, Henry believed in something and it came true. I think Henry was drawing a home, his home, and this is how he will get back home. By believing that simple drawing in the dirt is a portal. I think they are just foreshadowing it now tho. Or maybe my crack theory is now a meth theory 😛 u all see what I did there

That reminded me of a scene from the pilot episode of Stargate SG-1, where Daniel draws the symbol for Earth on the cell floor.

It was a house and perhaps like PP played him on the stick that was changed to a sword that maybe Henry thought he could do the same. Good thing Charming taught him how to sword fight 🙂
