What Will Charming Do Now?

As we all saw at the end of the episode, Charming was cut by a very nasty poison.

How will this affect the group? How will this affect the individuals of the JR6? When will Charming tell? Who will he tell? Will this affect the search for Henry?

I have a feeling he will not tell Snow or Emma. He knows it will disturb them and their search for Henry.

Regina may find out by accident but I suspect it will be Hook who first discovers it. And he’ll tell Emma.

Yeah, I bet Hook will either figure it out or Charming will tell him, hoping Hook knows of an antidote.

Does anyone think that TLK would work? I don’t but we need a reason why.

It’s possible that TLK could work, but we’ve seen poison that couldn’t be healed by TLK before.  The poison that made Snow & King George’s wife become barren comes to mind.  That took Lake Nostos’s water to heal Snow.  Wonder if there is a similar lake or magic water source in NL.

I’m so afraid that they are going to let him die. I hope they are able to save him somehow.

I’m sure they’ll save him. I know they originally wanted to kill Charming off in the Pilot, but I doubt they’d go there with him now. Josh and Ginny are this show’s supercouple, so it wouldn’t really make sense to write one of them off the show.

Hook could know the antidote. Tink could know the antidote. Pan for sure would know the antidote. Or maybe it’ll turn out, that Emma’s magic will be able to fix him.

Emma’s just admitted that she’s an orphan, as her first real step on her little journey of self discovery. The fact that they addressed her not truly accepting them as her parents, suggests to me that part of this journey will be eventually accepting that they are her parents, and they love her, and will always be there for her. Perhaps by the time she’s about ready to accept that, will be around the time that Charming can no longer hide his injury, and when Emma can tap into that emotion that’s necessary to fully accept her father, it will also allow her to generate the magic needed to heal him.

I don’t think they’ll let him die. I think it’ll just be a big secret he keeps hidden for awhile that will affect others around him and he’s going to have to learn not to keep things like that from the people he loves. Emma isn’t the only one on a quest here to find who she truly is and I expect Charming to go through a lot as well. It should make for some good father/daughter bonding once Emma learns of it though for sure.

I don’t remember hearing it in the episode regarding the arrows, but didn’t Hook say that the dreamshade he used on Rumple was a concentrated dose of it? So that should make Charming’s go a lot slower I would think. Poor thing will be suffering and hiding it. *sniff*

Maybe Emma’s untapped powers can help? She’s the Savior / Product of True Love & has magic but is just now embracing and learning it. Perhaps she’ll be able to heal him in a way that Snow or normal magic can. Perhaps it’s something even Rumple doesn’t know about, but love is strength, right? (Granted, Rumple wanted Cora dead so could have manipulated them into thinking that was the only way. And/or Emma’s magic was clearly not up to par and he couldn’t bank on her actually loving him so it was the only way, especially given that his TL who doesn’t have magic didn’t even know who he was at the time).

I agree though that we’ve seen a potion before that TL couldn’t break even though TL is supposed to be able to break any curse, but Lake Nostos was the way around that, so I’d like to think there’s a way around Charming as well. We’ve got too much invested in him for them to kill him off now, and there’s lots more drama to be had by having him alive and adjusting to how his not-so-little girl fits into his life.

So here’s to a speedy (1st half of the season anyway!) recovery to our Prince Charming. *passes out cookies*

I’ll continue to worry til they say something different. I hope the secret won’t stretch to ep 11. We have 9 episodes left of first half I hope charming and his poisoning will be dealt with sooner rather than later. I love his character. We can’t lose him.
