What would Rumple do in our World

Rumple has been desperate this whole Arc to get out of Storybook and enter our world. But the one thing that doesn’t make sense is why? What would he do. Take over our World. Influence it, Explore and use magic to get rid of people who get in his way….Cut in line at Disneyland, what does he want?

 

Or to make this place a little more fun, what do YOU want him to do in our world.

Honestly? I have no idea. But this is what is happening in my head right now.

Rumple is just sick and tired of all these fools. All of them. Snow, Charming, Regina, Random Guy on the Streeth #21346. Doesn’t matter. He wants out of the nut house that is SB because who the frack wouldnt?

Also I would say…The rest of the world is probably a MUCH safer place to live in then Storybrooke. I mean come on every week a new crisis or Villain, or something happens.

What I want him to do is take Belle on a tour of the world, since he knew early on that’s what SHE always wanted to do. I want them to take Henry, too, for Educational Purposes. I want them to live like kings and laugh and Rumple to threaten anyone who looks at Belle the wrong way but Belle to stop him from doing any real harm.

And I would laugh my head off if Charming insisted on coming along and I got to see my favorite broship exploring our world along with their family.

But…as for what I think…and I know it seems unlikely at present: the only thing that makes sense to me is that Rumple believes there’s a way to bring Bae back, and it involves sacrificing our world to do it.

I think Rumple could just be tired of Storybrooke. AS RG and DO said, every week there’s always something sinister going down, and every time, Snowing demand his help to sort it (normally shortly after accusing him of causing it). I could see Rumple just wanting to take Belle and Henry and just settle down somewhere where they can live in peace and not be disturbed.

I can see why Rumple wants to keep his powers (he’s made many enemies over the years and without his powers he’s defenceless and unable to protect himself, Belle or Henry). He wants to take Henry because he is his last remaining link to Baelfire (It’s a shame we don’t get to see more Henry/Rumple scenes) and he probably wants to leave Storybrooke because he’s still mourning the death of his son and just wants to withdraw from the dramas of Storybrooke but Snowing just keep bringing it to his door.

All magic comes with a price!

Sounds to me like he has something planned for our world, it’s not just wanting a change of scenery from SB. Then again, he also talks about lying to Belle and Henry and making himself out to be a hero, and the hero facade will be kinda hard to keep up if he promptly starts trying to take over the world. So who knows.

Well, that was the plan when Storybrooke was doomed by the Snow Queen. He’ll need a new one now.

I’ve never thought Rumple would be the type to try and take over the world. It’s just not his style. I suppose Rumple could try and become the most influential deal maker of Manhattan, but that still doesn’t seem like what Rumple’s after. So what could Rumple be after in New York City of all places? Well, we know that was where Neal’s apartment was located, so it seems obvious like that is where Rumple is headed. Why else go to NYC?

I wonder if he’s going there to look for things that meant something to his son–cuz we know they can be imbued with magic–like the dreamcatcher he saw Emma with. See, THAT would make sense to me. Taking over the world just isn’t his style.
