Lacey represents the idea that there are many people out there, who when confronted with magic power- would immediately want to seize and utilize it. Maybe not for bad reasons, maybe for ambiguous ones or even well intentioned ones, but still- there would be no hesitation.

This little statement launched me into day dreams about what I would do with magic if I had it….. WHAT WOULD YOU DO???

I’d probably whip up my fortune like what Aladdin did, move out, conjure up my own house and marry my boyfriend.
If there’s teleportation involved, I’d use that to travel instead of paying for a plane ticket.
1) Pay off student loans.
After that, who knows. But getting out of debt is my first concern.

Nevermind the price, 12 hour flights are absolute killers, and that is why I’d be all about teleportation. Either that or I’d whip myself up a private jet with a king sized bed in it so I could travel in comfort.

It’s like “be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.” You have to watch your wording and think of all the aspects of what would be affected. For example, if you wished for the ability to pause time, you might find yourself aging faster than everyone else! I’ve read so many something goes wrong with a wish stories. There’s one I read about this kid who wished for all the money in the world, and he got it…quite literally- so that no one else in the world had any money!
As for me- I’d be satisfied with a fix it, find it, clean it spell!
Or a “room of requirement” from Harry Potter- that would sure come in handy!
And of course, teleportation!

Exactly. I want to go to San Diego Comic Con one day but airfare from VA to CA – OMG! 😮 😯 Teleportation would help A LOT there.
A private jet would be nice too, but again with the wait time. 😆

I think I would pay off all my student loans like RG. I am accumulating more and more as we speak, 😯
I also would like to have a sharp memory where I can absorb all sorts of material and learn things like a sponge! That would really come in handy…
Also be able to speak all the languages of the world, far and wide!
Teleporting would an amazing power…
I kind of want that mirror that the cartoon Belle had from the Beast and be able to have a glimpse of the world…not in a creepy way though. More like places to travel.
