Let’s hear some season 4 theories!! What will happen between Regina/Robin/Marian? Will Emma be with Hook? Will Rumple and Belle’s marriage last? When will we find out who gave Snow the dark fairy dust? AND WAS THAT ELSA?? Open to any theories, no matter how crazy they are!
[adrotate group="5"]Hoping season 4 doesn’t turn into a Soap Opera after the scene with Regina, Robin, and Marian, but this is honestly the best season Once has had, and the best finale I have ever seen (not just saying that). This was epic! I hope old (evil) Regina doesn’t surface in season 4 after the return of Marian (or is it Miriam). She’s lost two loves (Daniel and now maybe Robin), so I hope she doesn’t try to get revenge on Emma by returning Milah, or hurting Hook to hurt her. I am hoping for a good 4th season of Once. Not “Storybrooke General Hospital” (making Regina Helena, and Snow/David Once’s very own Felicia and Frisco, and Hook/Emma Luke and Laura). Nevertheless, given how good season 3 was, and how good this finale was, I have confidence in A&E to make #4 just as good!

Elsa “The Ice Queen” will be a misunderstood threat and Zelena will return and redeem herself by being the voice of reason to soothe her. Storybrooke will fall under a winter curse and everyone will have to escape to a more tropical JUNGLE like realm…ENTER Baloo, Simba and The Jungle Boys Mowgli, Tarzan and George of The Jungle….Mowgli will seduce Elsa and they’ll live happily ever after…THE END…Ok wishful thinking however I’m serious about Zelena returning somehow and confronting Elsa. I just don’t see Zelena not coming back at least if as a ghost.
I’m really hoping what Rumple did comes out. I need Belle to know.
I hope whatever lingering issues there are with Regina, Robin and Marian get resolved. What I don’t want to see is Regina reverting back to her evil queen ways.
Absolutely Killian and Emma will be in a relationship. 🙂
I hope they get into the Robin Hood/Main Marion back story…maybe it will explain Tink’s comment, “You didn’t just ruin your life, you ruined his.”

Hook and Emma…just weird. Sorry, SwanFire for life. I know it won’t happen, but it would be cool if something happened while Emma and Hook were in the past that altered Neal’s destiny…Emma just isn’t aware of that yet. In any case – I’m sure there will be some additional repercussions of their adventure in the past that hasn’t been made known yet (that’s probably where Elsa fits into the story).
My only other hope for Season 4 is more flashbacks to the EF. Season 1 is still my favorite…I love seeing the actual fairy tale action.
Given how A&E are such Star Wars fan boys, I think that Elsa will freeze Hook, Emma will need to rescue him and when he thaws out he might be blind temporarily. I wonder if the scene of Hook looking at the mirror in Rumple’s vault will have any significance because in the Snow Queen an evil mirror causes problems. I haven’t watched Frozen so I can’t speculate too much on how it impacts StoryBrooke. I don’t see Elsa being evil or getting a significant others. Little kids relate to her too much.
I think Regina will become a bitter again. I can see her trying to make Emma’s life difficult. I can see her being the reason Hook gets frozen. I see Henry being a modulating influence. It will be interesting to see how Henry treats his two mothers.
I think Rumple will feel guilty about deceiving Belle, especially since she will be all lovey dovey. Out of guilt I see him pulling away from her. Belle will figure out he has lied to her. There will be angst. She realizes she needs to be away from Rumple. Hopefully, we will see her develop a life outside of Rumple.
For Emma, I hope to see her bonding with her parents, especially her mom over her sibling. I want Emma and Hook to have at least two episodes where they giddy happy in love — holding hands, kissing — before everything gets crazy again. I want to see Rumple and Regina being snarky about it.
By the ends of the season, I hope that Hook has developed hobbies or interests outside of Emma. I hope that Henry and Emma encourage him. The original Hook was supposed to be very smart and Barie would later state Hook was member of England’s most elite university. Hook loved music and literature. Even in Peter Pan the movie, Hook played the piano. Since Colin loves music, it could be a good and easy fit.

I kind of think the Elsa thing might be a misdirection and she ends up playing less of a role than A&E suggest. They were talking in chat about how tackling Frozen at this point might be dangerous because it’s so present in people’s minds…I don’t know if I necessarily agree, but I don’t put it past A&E/ABC to want to incorporate Frozen into OUAT to really milk it…ABC has literally said they plan to ride the Frozen train to the very end. And Frozen is a VERY shiny toy to dangle in front of our boys!
I’m hoping the Star Wars references increase (and with the newest film in production, I wouldn’t be shocked to see it!)…I want Roland to get an EWOK PET! haha
I want more Rumbelle. You don’t pull that kind of whiplash that they pulled in the last 3 episodes with this couple and not devote a good chunk of time to that storyline (I hope). I really want to see Belle lose just a little of the ‘but you’re not bad anymore’ delusion and have to confront just how complex Rumple is. And really deal with the question of how forgiving can one be – where’s the breaking point?
And of course, I want some CS goodness! Give us a few episodes before they start messing with it.
Oh! And more bromance!! I love the bromances, all of them!!
….I just realized, I want to see a lot of stuff in S4….well they didn’t let me know with S3, so maybe I’ll get some of my headcanons realized!!

I think we’re going to see a darker side of Belle. She’s been making some strange comments lately about liking both sides (the good and the bad) of Rumple. Notice she hasn’t been saying “I like you despite your bad side”, but rather, “I like both sides”.
As Lacy, she was a little dark. We might see some of Lacy come out in her. Maybe some dark secret side of her will come out. Perhaps (dare I dream it) she’ll become a new villain.
