What’s Next for Storybrooke?

Granny, Whale, and Leroy add so much color to the show. I’m kinda sad they’re not on the boat (not WTH-Belle’s-not-on-the-boat sad, but…). And Red is such an epic character (and like David Anders, I’d love to see Frankenwolf explored more). Belle’s gonna need her friends for support with Rumple gone and all doomsdayish, and that’s Red and Leroy pretty much. (Though Mother Superior was involved in that hug at Archie’s funeral…though that hug and Emma’s rare statements about Belle suggest that she did have some relationships beyond the ones we’ve seen.) Gah, I didn’t get to see it last night, so I’m still processing the finale today. A lot.

Everyone’s assuming belle uses the spell .. What if she doesn’t ? i could see her not using it and giving the others a chance to return and others the options to leave plus i could see the ones that stayed in storybrooke preparing to battle to protect the town and each other… i seriously doubt they’ll use the the spell myself otherwise they’ll be no progression i think it’ll be cool having the town on the map leaving opportunities for so many stories for those left behind to have because seriously what would they do if they hid the town show stories of the dwarfs getting drunk and granny serving frozen lasagna everyday? so if they dont use the spell then when the show flashes back to storybrooke itll be just as interesting as events happening in neverland etc

Nah, I think she’ll use the spell, and I love the Librarian Mayor Queen Belle theory. I do think that there will be complications with the spell and it will almost certainly get broken at some point, or at least broken through.

They’ll probably also work on regrowing the beans as a backup plan. Perhaps more carefully this time. Leroy can fill Belle in on that scheme. (OMG I NEED BELLE + ANTON SCENES NOW. They’d be such good friends! Think about it!)

I suspect that Neal & SB will connect before Neal + Jolly Roger. He doesn’t know about Henry’s kidnapping or that the rest of The Family went after him. He does know what Belle looks like, at least, so when either they get some beans to go back to FTL or Neal finds a way to SB, he’ll find her and Mayor Belle will tell him what’s up and they can go on an adventure TOGETHER (OMG YES PLZ REAL BELLE + BAE. They’d be such good friends!!! Family Floof!) to get Rumple back for Belle and Henry + Emma back for Neal.
