What if, when Henry gets his first crush on a girl, all the men in his life start jostling with each other to give him crappy, out-dated, Enchanted Forest-type love advice? Like they turn it into a competition to see whose advice gets him the girl, e.g. his two grandpas going head-to-head, and then Hook and Robin too (to impress the mothers), but the girl always just ends up being super unimpressed, leaving Henry exasperated when the guys just keep throwing crappy advice and unwanted encouragement at him anyway.
Personally, I would love for Hook to tell Henry to say ‘You’re not like other girls’ and for her to be all ‘Umm, yes I am. Girls are awesome. What’s your problem?’ and just walk away. Leaving Hook and Henry all speechless.
I want the girl to be feisty and resistant to all of Henry’s attempts. Like after a few weeks of Henry trying and not getting anywhere Regina could be like ‘excuse ME little miss! What makes you think you’re too good for MY Henry?!’ and the girl just walks off like she doesn’t give a hoot, leaving Regina with her mouth hanging open like – ‘Oh no! She did not just walk away from me!’
Perhaps Merida would be a good candidate for this role?
So… What are your scenarios for this event (Henry dating/trying to get a date)? How do you see it going down? And could you see a rivalry developing between the men in his life, where giving Henry love advice in concerned?

"there’s lesbians in it"I can see Henry getting conflicting and confusing advice from the different male figures in his life.
It’s like that Star Trek: TNG episode where young Wesley Crusher got his first crush on a girl and he got weird advice from different male members of the crew. Worf told him how klingon men court their ladies, Riker gave his own advice, there was stuff from Guinan, Geordi. Everyone said something different.
So yeah, I imagine depending on who Henry asks, he’s going to get a different response.
As to who the girl would be, I honestly don’t know. Merida would be interesting (if she happens to be Henry’s age).

God help the unlucky gal Henry brings home….with his family tree….she’ll be dancing in dangerous territory.
Regina: If you hurt my son….I will destroy you if it is the last thing I do.
Snow: Take it from me…she means it.
Emma: And when she’s done….I’ll probably end up pummeling you.
Henry: Robin? Gramps? Hook?
Robin, David, Hook: We’re not getting in the middle of that.
Henry: Grandpa? Belle?
Rumple: Nothing to say…though I do side with Regina on this.

I think Merida is about 14-16 in the film, and Henry is what? 14 now?
I could also see the women reacting really differently too. Like Regina would take it personally if the girl rejected Henry, Emma would tell him to follow his gut and just leave him to figure it out on his own, Belle would give him a library’s worth of romance novels and tell him to read them, and Snow would be really meddlesome and try to have a word with the girl (probably causing more problems than solutions).
The more I think about it the more I feel we need this to happen, especially since we haven’t gotten too much of Henry this season.

I would love it if this happened and Henry started to sweat, but the girl is all ‘Yeah whatever. What’s for dinner?’ Like she just isn’t scared of them, and they start to suspect that she’s evil while Henry begs them to just lay off XD

I hadn’t really given much thought to how the females in Henry’s life would react to him having a crush on a girl and what kind of advice they would give him. I can see this being the case though.
