Just had a thought. The whole stars align thing is very similar to Disney’s Hercules where Hades had to wait for the stars to align so he could free the titans and make an attempt at taking over Mount Olympus.

Maybe Hades will be one of the villains for season 5. With Panic and Pain. Would love to see another male villain! If season 5 is split into 2 parts, Jafar & Hades. A male villain centric season (I think that’s right).
I would love to see this. I think Rumple needs some competition for top male villain – Jafar could definitely give him a run for his money. And Hades? Let’s see… the Dark One vs. the god of the Underworld? I’m all for it. Besides, David and Hercules would probably get along well.

Actually, in the Disney cartoon, Hades had to wait for the planets, not the stars, to align but, close enough. I don’t think it means we’ll be seeing Hercules, however, since I think perhaps it’s just a borrowed literary device which is added in to make it seem more magical.
