Besides the last 5 minutes happening in what seemed like a confusing blur…Did anyone notice if the babies (Zelena’s baby [what’s her name?] and baby Neal) were with their parents? I think I noticed Mary Margaret carrying baby Neal as they slowly marched toward the pond. (confirm?) But I don’t remember seeing Zelena’s baby being carried by Regina nor Robin. Where is she? Who is presently caring for her now that Regina sent Zelena off to Oz?
If both were carried to the Underworld, any comments regarding Child Endangerment? 🙂
[adrotate group="5"]December 8, 2015 at 11:14 am #313921KebParticipantI’m assuming that either the fairies are still caring for the babies (maybe they never picked them up that night?) or Rumple’s cover story to Belle involved her taking care of the whole day care situation, and that’s why she believes she’s being left behind.
But. SERIOUSLY.

December 8, 2015 at 11:59 am #313924SlurpeezParticipantFrom a moral stance, I question the wisdom of anyone risking his or her life by going to hell. Unlike when everyone went to Neverland to save Henry because he was a child whom everyone had an obvious connection to, only Emma is invested in saving Hook. No one besides Belle or Neal felt the need to try and resurrect Rumple after he scarified himself to save the town from Peter Pan. So why does everyone now decide that Hook is somehow more worthy such as to risk leaving their children orphans? They’re going to the realm of the dead and there is a heavy risk they may never return to the land of the living. No matter how forlorn Emma may be, as a mother, her first duty should be to Henry; how she or Regina could let Henry, a minor, go to the Underworld is crazy. No parent has any business going to hell either, since they all have children to think of! It doesn’t matter if Hook tried to right a wrong that he initially caused; how these parents could even think of risking their lives again when they have only have a moral duty to their children first and foremost is disgusting. Being a good parent means putting the needs of one’s children first.

December 8, 2015 at 2:10 pm #313933KebParticipantNo, but seriously, I’m getting angry thinking about this too much. Robin Hood, who has a NEWBORN and a 5yo son to take care of, is choosing to leave them (with whom?) and go to hell with his girlfriend to resurrect a man he has almost no connection with–they’ve barely interacted on screen. Meanwhile, Belle, who is actually Killian’s FRIEND now, who is the smartest cookie they have besides Rumple, who is Emma’s step-sorta-MIL through Henry, who AT THIS MOMENT IC has absolutely NO reason to be left behind other than Rumple wants to keep his DO status secret (even though he and Emma just told EVERYONE else she knows)…
SHE gets left behind.
It is possible that they can redeem this by having Robin going just to say goodbye and then staying behind, but…
It sure didn’t look like that’s where they were going with it.

December 8, 2015 at 2:23 pm #313934malchoreParticipantWhen I get home from work tonight, i’ll have to re-watch those last 5 minutes, paying careful attention to the group that was walking towards the pond. I think that group is following Emma to the underworld. Anyways, what I thought I saw was:
Henry was walking behind Emma.
Mary Margaret was holding baby Neal. (spelling? Neil?)Which leaves Zelena’s baby. Seriously, what is her name? I am old and cannot remember these things.
Slurpeez pretty well summed up my confusion at this outcome. (In that…the parents in OUaT have been pretty consistent in their protection from any harm to their respective children.)
December 8, 2015 at 5:24 pm #313977JosephineParticipantJust watched the scene and there is no baby in it. Mary Margret had her hands in her coat pocket. So I assume the babies are still with the fairies.
I only hope that when they return the fairies refuse to give up custody on grounds of neglect and abandonment.

When was any baby left with any fairy? I haven’t seen any fairies around for several seasons now — the last being Nova and the backstory between her and Grumpy. Other than the occasional guest appearance of Blue Fairy, I’ve not seen any other fairy. And Keb, thanks for reminding me about Robin’s other 5yo kid. I forgot about him.

Don’t worry, Robin’s forgotten about him too!

Don’t worry, Adam and Eddy forgot about it, too.
Maybe the townspeople who are missing in all scenes are hanging out at the convent.

December 8, 2015 at 6:58 pm #313987KebParticipantThe comment about the fairies collecting Neal and taking care of Baby Hood and Roland was made when they were transported to the Duckpond of Doom, before Hook’s death. This was when they believed they were unwillingly going to the Underworld, not the next day when Emma convinced them all (presumably) (except Belle!) to come with her to save Hook.
