I think the trial will be over before the Finale maybe in a couple of episodes and they will have something else going on in the real world as we get nearer the end. Maybe about Emma believing a bit and someone getting their memories back.

And confirmation of the finale’s title: http://www.examiner.com/tv-in-national/once-upon-a-time-spoilers-the-season-finale-title-is"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

That is going to be a rough ending if that is what they do. I hope that Emma stays and someone remembers. I just can’t imagine Emma leaving Henry at this point.
March 21, 2012 at 4:33 pm #139393ciela_crowParticipantEmma knows that something isn’t right about Storybrook, even if she doesn’t believe in the curse. So I don’t think shes going to leave. If she does leave, then Graham’s death would have been for nothing.
I really hope Regina doesn’t die or something. Maleficent is cool and all, but she has no connection to Snow White and Prince Charming, and therefore, Emma. Emma is the savior, and the whole story is about hope and her beating the curse. Where would the story go if Emma did defeat the curse this season? The characters all have to find their happiness, and I like the idea of them going back to fairytale land, but not just yet. Theres still so many stories left to tell. Rumpelstiltskin said that it was “the curse to end all curses”, so its going to be more complicated then Regina dieing, or Emma finding true love.
Regina will do anything to keep Mary Margret and David seperated. So I think thats why shes being so friendly to David. He probably doesn’t have many friends since he cheated on his wife and people think he could be a murderer. Why did he go to Regina for advice? Maybe because he sees her as a friend, or as someone who will listen and isn’t afraid of him.

I highly doubt the writers would kill off Regina. She’s way too integral to the plot of the curse to die after just the first season!

Wouldn’t that support the theory that Rumpel wants to rid the world of magic? :3

😯 Perhaps we will see Rumple putting together the Dark Curse and why he made it.

Also, we know the title of the finale is called A Land Without Magic. Maybe Rumple does want to put an end to magic.

Exactly! Though it could also be just the beginning of SB after the curse was enacted. I doubt Rumpel’s goal will be attained by the end of this season. Then again, the creators did say sometime, that the season would be a closed arc on some level.
March 22, 2012 at 6:48 pm #139468hjbauParticipantI think that the closed arc is returning to the place where Snow and Charming are at the glass coffin. That seems to be the arc that is closed this season.
