Will was found sleeping with a “Alice in Wonderland” book, with a picture of the Red Queen, Anastasia in his pocket. For those of you who did not watch WL, this is Will’s TL. But where is she? What happened to her?

And there’s no story in it if he’s just back because she died. More likely IMO that something happened to her and he was hoping to find a clue in the book that might help him save her.

That’s what I’d like to think, because her being dead doesn’t add up to the end of Wonderland because of two reasons:
1) Anastasia was revived by Nyx’s water because “she was meant to live on as the White Queen.” Why would she be revived only to die a year later?
2) The epilogue shows Alice telling her daughter about Will and Anastasia happily ruling Wonderland as the White King and Queen.I admit I myself am a little concerned that maybe they’re going to disregard how Wonderland ended just because the show failed and they don’t want to pay for Emma Rigby to return (at least not in a regular role), but if they’re going to add Will into the show, shouldn’t they do so in a way that doesn’t upset the people who actually did watch him on Wonderland? So the more optimistic approach is that Will and Anastasia have only been temporarily separated, and now he’s trying to find a way to get back to her. For one, maybe a reason he broke into the Snow Queen’s shop in the first place has to do with all of the mirrors. A looking glass is how he got to Wonderland in the first place, so he could be looking for a new looking glass. Dead or not dead, what happened to Anastasia and how Will got back to Storybrooke in the first place remains to be seen.

Human transformation is a theme in this episode: the puppets featured prominently in the background at Rumpel’s, and Mickey the Apprentice turned into a mouse. Maybe Wil needs to return Anastasia to her story.

The red queen is NOT a character in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, that book features the Queen of Hearts, as it uses a deck of cards theme. It is Through the Looking Glass, the sequel that features the Red Queen, as well as features the White King and Queen in a chess theme.
Ok back on topic, I really hope that they haven’t killed off Ana and I don’t think they would as this would destory the happy ending and would contradict the epilogue material of Wonderland.

I will gladly accept that if it means Ana isn’t dead.
