Okay this Will thing I’m glad he’s back but the feeling we are redconing wonderland here. Now to be fair the show technically failed but I don’t know I’m I bit torn you could make a slim argument that wonderland didn’t take place till after season 2 and there redconning that but again it’s slim

Well, we have two people in SB right now who shouldn’t be there (as in, were not brought by the curse). I know that Will COULD MAYBE have been brought by the curse, but since he was in WL living out his happy ending and not in the EF with everyone else, I’m going to assume he wasn’t. So, is it crazy to think maybe Will and this Snow Queen came from the same place? As in, maybe she was terrorizing WL and he and Ana, as good rulers, chased her out, but he got stuck in our world? That could be a reason for why he broke into her shop, as well; if he knows who she is, maybe he’s trying to catch her before Emma does. Maybe she’s done something to Ana, and he’s trying to get her to undo it. Just some ideas.
Given that we know Will was caught in Regina’s Curse (although we don’t know why he would’ve gone back to Mist Haven prior to it being cast), it’s not out of the question for him to have been caught in Snow’s Curse even though he wasn’t in Mist Haven at the time. The fact that he’d been pulled by it once would, based on what we know about it, be enough to bring him against his will.

I hope this is the answer. Dr. Whale wasn’t in the Enchanted Forest when Regina cast the first curse, but he was still brought to Storybrooke. We’ve heard that the DC affected all the lands, so it would be a stretch for Snow’s curse to bring the Knave from Wonderland.

The Curse might’ve ‘affected’ all lands, but it certainly didn’t drag all of the inhabitants of every single land to Storybrooke, meaning that Whale and Jefferson were dragged to Storybrooke because Regina wanted them to be. Unless Will somehow met Regina at some point prior to leaving Mist Haven with Ana, he had to have gone back there in order to have been dragged along by the Curse, because it wouldn’t have affected him otherwise based on what we know. The question is: why did he leave Wonderland? Was it simply because he couldn’t deal with being in the same world as Ana even without his heart being in his body? Was there some more sinister reason? Did he use Maleficent’s mirror, or did he find the White Rabbit and ask him to make a portal?
Hopefully we’ll find out some of the answers to these questions.
This started out as a bit of a crack theory, but I do think there may be something to it. My crack theory: something has gone drastically wrong in WL (something involving Maleficent, from whom Will stole the looking glass he and Ana used to get to WL in the spinoff show), which is why Will is now in SB. Whatever (or whoever) is affecting WL is also now affecting other worlds, including this one. It’s been confirmed that Maleficent will be appearing in S4b, so I think this prediction may actually hold water
